That's actually genius. They put that as a B-Side to What If or something and put How You See The World in place of it! Greatest album.

Every album has its own "A Sky Full Of Stars". It was "Shiver" for Parachutes, "In My Place" for AROBTTH, Lovers in Japan for Viva La Vida and "Hardest Part" for X&Y.

i'm a fan of Coldplay since AROBTTH and I'm really enjoy this more than GS and X&Y

 

really curious for the critical reception to see if you guys have been harsh or what ? so far MX and GS are the most hated albums in this forum and that really match with Media reviews as it the lowest rated albums on Metacritic

 

but I'm quite positive on this one

Fan since rush of blood as well here. I also don't mind this album. But I don't have the fear of electro drums or r&b vibes but understand this forum may not be used to such sounds.

I don't think HFTW would live up to the video they filmed in India. AHFOD would make a much better song.

Wow easy :lol:, I didn't say that I don't like it. I just pointed out that every album has its own uplifting, happy(kinda) song, and Shiver is that song for Parachutes.

So I still don't understand how the Indian influences play into this album (aside from the AOAL guitar riff)

Listened to it when it leaked and couldn't get a chance to download until now! I love these songs even more, but I have to agree that many of them are fillers.

Up & up it's strange...so different from the live version

 

I know. I'm not happy how they produced it without the prominent piano. But I don't know... with the piano, it kinda sounded like a Taylor Swift melody.

p.s: This is a Day One review. I am pretty sure that as the days pass, AHFOD will get better and better in my ears.

 

I don't think you can really say the production to AHFOD sucks- unless you hear the high-quality version.

The leaked album, so far, is only low quality. You can hear the signal crush on the bass- I don't know how it was ripped..but it wasn't done right.

Wow I just realized Color Spectrum is the same as the intro to AHFOD and we just thought they secretly played CS during the Tidal concert
