I personally wouldn't mind if AHFOD is like Miracles. No, it is not their best and I would absolutely love it if they went back to their roots, but Miracles and is just so uplifting but yet not too poppy and mainstream. And musically works very well with the build up and the whole bands contribution in it. So I would be happy with a "Miracles-Styled" album

very well said about "Miracles":). I love it. It really helped me a lot getting out of dark moments. It is not some meaningless pop song, in fact it has very deep spiritual meaning. it reminds me not to let darkness take me down in any circumstance. love Chris singing "yay, yay, yay... ":D

^Something sexy would be awesome :) I think they definitely achieved that with Magic and even Another's Arms and would love to see more.

I feel in a little in between with a Miracles sounding album...On one side I really would love to hear more piano and guitar melodies, which is my favourite part of the song and I would also like the uplifting lyrics and vibes. That said, I really really don't want anymore of the pop tricks that so many bands have been overusing of late that can be found in Miracles. I don't want any electronic clapping or snapping, constant wooo oooo oooo ooo's from Chris, or overblown finale's with "oh yeah yeah yeahhhhhhhh" They just over-cheese otherwise really nice songs in my opinion.

Mostly agree that it would be best if they stepped outside the box and dropped something as surprising yet interestingly composed as Midnight. One of their best songs that fits no where else in the catalog. More of that please in every single style! Dreams can be crazy, experimental and weird after all? AYUMIRIGHT?

Or how about the Marvin Gaye "Let's Get It On" kind of sexy? XD Maybe that's a little over the top, but that'll definitely be quite unexpected.

Well said. I liked Miracles when I heared it, but got tired with it in no time, mostly because of those tricks you're talking about.

Midnight which I loved straight away, only has become more and more special. It's a new big favourite, the beauty of it keeps on amazing me.

Id like something a little like Reflektor by Arcade fire - quite funky and relies on the groove of a song to hold the listeners attention. Or anything experimental I would be happy with. No more electronic drums/clapping and woo oos from chris please haha

:laugh3: I love it like loving chocolate, a bit guilty pleasure:P. need some angst in their lives now to make a heavier record i guess. I've been listen to AROBTH too much lately:cry:. It would feel like a circle if they really go back to that one, leaving Parachute as a little tail. i don't even know what i'm talking about.:(

No more electronics or drum machines please! More alternative/ghost story feel. Even x&yish would be incredible, no more pop albums. I was ok when mylo came, it was a cool new sound, i enjoyed it and then when they did it again with ghost stories, i was a bit disappointed because they used electronics again but gs is still better than mylo. Mylo was overproduced and too poppy at times. i think this next album with be like viva because they are working with davide rossi again and he did a lot of work on viva. I think they are going to mix alternative rock with classical music because of radio dial waltz in b minor and the fact that chris is listening to a lot of chopin right now. That would be an incredible album. What do you guys think?

Yes I agree!

A less commercialised album I would be happy with.

Don't get me wrong, I love ALL of the albums but for me I would love something along the lines of Parachutes/ AROBTOH, but as Davide and Rik are both in the studio with the guys then there is 100% definitely going to be strings and synths on this album so will be interesting to see what happens.

no more pop albums please! no more electronics or drum machines. more x&y or maybe more viva or ghost story more alternative. i was ok with mylo the first time, enjoyed the different sound but when they came out with gs and they used elctronics again i was disappointed because they were still making pop music.
