just watched a doc from 2009 about Coldplay. And my god they seemed just different then now. I personally think that when they fired Brian Eno (which i was for btw), Coldplay went downhill

 

I honestly think they when downhill when they fired Ken Nelson. Not that Brian Eno was a bad thing for Coldplay, after all he gave them their first #1 single.

I personally love the title, A Head Full Of Dreams. It sounds ambitious. I'm not too worried about what the music may sound like. We should trust the boys with the direction their going in.

 

I agree with Cakey, Princess Of China isn't a bad song. It has a good beat to it. Pretty catchy too. Music is music, it's all about how it makes you feel, not about who's opinion is right or wrong. :)

I feel like we should legit be hearing something soon about AHFOD

Well, Kanye, Rihanna, and Sir Paul just dropped the track, which I presume is the first single for Rihanna's new record. I think it is pretty good. Similar to Kanye's "Only One" which was nice and stripped back but I think very pretty.

 

Must mean Rihanna's new album is coming soon, and so we should know if Coldplay or Chris Martin will be featuring at all, I hope so!! Nothing makes a great pop start better than having good songwriters!

FourFiveSeconds. Sorry, but it sounded absolutely awful to me. Rihanna's voice is really not impressive and that guitar line sounds pretty pathetic to me. It doesn't sound well produced at all, and the whole thing just seems unfinished.

Yeah for sure. Someone like Fergie (the singer!) would be better as she's already had a successful collab with Slash.
