January 30, 200818 yr i'm terribly excited for albert's next solo album! i was SO impressed by the first one; it was right on par with the strokes (incredible) music in my opinion. if it comes out around the same time as the coldplay album, i'll be in music heaven. and i read (somewhere...:thinking:) that the strokes were going to start their fourth album in early 2009 once albert is finished touring. i really hope to see them again, because that was one of the best concerts i've ever been to in my life, and i'd kill to see albert if he comes around here.

May 2, 200818 yr idk about you guys but im really not a big fan of albert's solo work... i think the strokes together as a band are a ton better and i want them to start playing together again! albert's stuff is quality just not as driving/pumpup/inyourface/fun as the strokes stuff.

June 24, 200917 yr I love the Strokes. First two albums were really good. The third one was spotty, but "You Only Live Once" is probably my all-time favorite Strokes song. Can't wait for the new album. Hopefully, it will stop the fairly recent decline in popularity and album sales they have experienced. I'll buy it no matter what...

June 27, 200916 yr Ok I'm a newbie to the Strokes, thanks to Liz. I watched their self made tour diary, and died laughing, they were so goofy and cute. Have only heard the few songs on their myspace. any recommendations for others I'll take em :) edit-- thanks liz hahahaha you beat me to it for my intro :kiss:
