October 24, 20196 yr i mean it’s different and great and all for them but we’re still dealing with coldplay here, not aphex twin. i will say though i agree with annie mac; this sort of pop isn’t similar to anything out at the moment, it’s really unique in that sense while also being unique for coldplay, which is great. But when it was said that it’s an experimental album, from what you guys heard so far, is it really experimental or Coldplay’s version of experimental? I'd say Arabesque would be experimental for anyone. It's a much better song than Orphans (which isn't experimental at all) but idk how it'll do, chart wise. If it's in the Top 40 I would be shocked. But this is the same band that brought the renaissance sound of Viva la Vida to #1 in the US
