yeah that gig was broadcast on tv. i caught snippets of it and it wasnt too bad. dissapointed they didnt broadcast The Scare, they are one of my favourite young bands at the moment.

 

Yeah they're pretty cool actually...

Good 3rd album, not as good as Shine On though.

which is your fave album?

Right now I really like Shine On, but Get Born is probally their "strongest" album. But yeah, I think Shine On cause it has a more phsycadelic feel.

Australian rockers Jet, best known for their 2003 anthem "Are You Gonne Be My Girl," have called it quits.

 

In a message posted to the group's website, the quartet announced that its members -- Nic Cester, Mark Wilson, Cameron Muncey and Chris Cester -- are parting ways. "After many successful years of writing, recording and touring we wish to announce our discontinuation as a group," reads the message. "From the many pubs, theatres, stadiums and festivals all across the world it was the fans that made our amazing story possible and we wish to thank them all. Thank you, and goodnight."
