June 10, 200917 yr New Video! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHAbpjkrDIk]YouTube - The Killers - A Dustland Fairy Tale (Official Music Video) HQ[/ame]
June 10, 200917 yr Nice video. Didn't really get the story at first, but I started piecing it together as the video went on. All of The Killers' videos so far for Day & Age have been pretty good.
June 10, 200917 yr Mine too! If they're putting out any more singles from D&A, it should be something a little different like Joy Ride (even though I'm not a big fan of it). On another note, B-side "All the Pretty Faces" has been confirmed for Guitar Hero 5. Talk about a freaking random song choice... :inquisitive:
June 10, 200917 yr I love love love love the new video  Did I say I love it? :P anyway, I saw them live two days ago, last show of the first part of the EU summer leg, finally got to heart Losing Touch live, but they didn't play Rome & Juliet, the song everyone wanted them to play since we were in Verona. They recorded the gig and apparently is going to be part of the bonus material of the DVD :D Here's a few pics from the front row (orchestra pit was in the middle so it was not really front row, more tenth row, and security kept telling us we couldn't take pics and videos :dozey:) and mexican wave before the gig, I caught only one round, but it kept going on quite a bit :wacky: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBW9HbJs4Vw]YouTube - 2009-06-08 The Killers - Mexican Wave before the gig [Arena, Verona][/ame]
June 10, 200917 yr Oh I'm jealous!! :) Nice pictures and the Mexican wave video is  I watched their performance at "Rock am Ring" on MTV last week, did you watch it as well?
June 11, 200917 yr Ohh, the video for Dustland Fairytale is good. That song gets progressively awesome-er as it goes on. Does anyone else think Forget About What I Said sounds very Hot Fuss?
June 11, 200917 yr I still have to watch the video, youtube isn't working on my computer right now. :disappointed: I love love love love the new video  Did I say I love it? :P anyway, I saw them live two days ago, last show of the first part of the EU summer leg, finally got to heart Losing Touch live, but they didn't play Rome & Juliet, the song everyone wanted them to play since we were in Verona. That makes me really excited for my concert in September.
June 12, 200917 yr I also watchede them live (about a week ago) at Skivé beach party or "skyve as Brandod said it :) ANyway do anybody know who the asian guy is that has been touring with them for a loooooong time..he is playing guitar, synth and violin..he is also on the backing vocals sometimes.. someone have a clue?
June 13, 200917 yr I was fortunate enough to have seen Brandon collaborate with Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band this weekend. Just... wow. :) My two favorite artists....well, behind Coldplay that is!
June 22, 200917 yr When I first heard Human, I got all excited and went out and bought the CD and Human and Spaceman would be the only songs Iwould listen to since I decided I hated the rest. But then I kinda listen to it over and over and changed my mind about most of the songs. Oh by the way, I think Spaceman video is really weird, but I love the song:P

Some of the songs you need to listen to more than one time before you like them. The band are really experimenting with some songs on this album ( i cant stay - Joy ride to name some) I like though. ANd yeah the spaceman is so weird but cool i think..Brandon flowers is just a hell of a character and he has all my respect.
June 25, 200917 yr yeah. i think losing touch should be one of their singles too.. Same, It got a lot of air time on radio in oz...
June 25, 200917 yr ^^ is it still getting airplay.? the J's played it loads over the summer then stopped around March/April. then Joyride got a bit for a week or so.
June 25, 200916 yr The Killers announce plans to release covers album The Killers' Brandon Flowers and Ronnie Vanucci have told NME.COM that the band are planning to record an album of covers before the end of the year. Speaking in this week's issue of NME (out nationwide on June 24) about their plans for the release, the two said they've been thinking hard about which acts they'd like to include on the album. "It's something that we've always talked about doing and we're still talking about," Flowers said. "It's difficult for each of us to pick songs that represent us as individuals. I mean, I have a lot of personalities myself! I've gone through everything from Neil Diamond to The Cars." Vanucci cited acts including "Genesis, Tom Waits, a little Cyndi Lauper, Iggy Pop" as his preferred choices for the album, adding that he's also been "messing around with a couple of Fleet Foxes songs" recently. The drummer continued by saying that the band are planning to work on the album while on their current tour, explaining that The Killers have taken a mobile recording rig on the road with them. "It sounds excellent," he noted. The Killers are set to headline Hard Rock Calling in London tomorrow (June 26). To read the full interview with Flowers and Vanucci, make sure you pick up this week's issue if NME (available on newsstands across the country from June 24). Source: NME.com
