An EP would mean obviously there are more ready and unreleased songs, and that´s really unlikely, after the release of the Full Moon edition, which I guess it would have spent almost all of their bullets.

I think we have more music videos on the way too, but singles-wise there's no reason for anything after All My Love. The sreaming era killed post-album releasing.

I see the Full Moon edition as a gift for fans, not something they would expect to go massive, but the possibilities of “Good Feelings” are something else, I ´m not a big fan of that song but it´s a crystal clear single for next… spring?

In theory, they will not release more singles...

 

I think this Shin On poster in the videoclip wasn´t a coincidence. Its some type of messege.

After the Full Moon edition an EP seems unlikely, plus they haven't played much of their new stuff live to act as filler material. Though consider possibility that with the 45 day break until the Middle East shows and nearly 2.5 months until their Hong Kong and Seoul will be filled with some studio time to hammer out additional songs. Spring EP could still be on the table.

The thing is... why would they wanna do that? Why would they want to "spend" songs for an unnecessary EP when they are repeating that their worst nightmare is working in the studio and pushing on songs to be released, and they already have a linemark of two more albums? They just released Moon Music, plus some b-sides in the Full Moon Edition thst they could have easily left for the future, just in case. So I don´t see the point on releasing more songs now, before the next LP (and whatever is going on with Shine On).

Well... I think right now it´s more some fans wishes than any piece of evidence, but of course, I really hope you´re right!

I am not going to get my hopes up yet but I hope an EP is released (I crave more coldplay)

Well, from the leaks we know that they have many songs from the Music of the Spheres and Moon Music recording sessions. So they have material, and of quite good quality I would say.

So yes, an EP could fit in, and probably with all the material they have they wouldn't need to record anything new, at most touch up something.

There has to be some kind of rainbow EP. We have multiple teasers with Phil kind of confirming it consists of 3 parts. In the MM booklet we have 7 songs written in the rainbow (Chris also teased that the Rainbow is a teaser for the future). We already have:

The Karate Kid

Neon Forrest

Man in the Moon

Angel Song

So still missing are: 

Sunshine

Opus 5

M.U.S.I.C

and Shine On has been teased many times. Neon Forrest technically didn't get the full release as well. 

All songs in full + Shine On would more than make up for an EP with 8 songs. Prospekt's March also had 8..

I wonder if there’s any chance of 2 Aliens. That was kind of teased on MM as well

I know it’s not even been 2 months yet but I honestly feel 🌈 is one of the best songs they’ve ever done ever. Honestly I might even put it above any Viva song, which I would’ve thought impossible a year ago. 
 

I’m thrilled we got the full Angelsong but I need the full Neon Forest though. Via leak, EP release or otherwise. 🌈 is going to feel forever unfinished to me until we have that. 

Please don't force me to Felipe42 this thing into existence, because I will

Isn't the leaked Neon Forest (the almost three-and-a-half minute one) the full song? I am talking about the one where the chorus (basically the lyrics part) is sang twice (and not only once) and the ending is that beautiful "bells" part (the melody which they use in the concerts as the intro to "Yellow"). I really loved that version and honestly I feel that the album version ends rather abruptly... I so hope they release the "leaked" version officially at some time.. But do you think there is another, longer version? I highly doubt it.

Time to reveal a secret. It’s a fanmade edit. I know this for a fact because I was the fan who made it. 
 

iirc m4racide (who knows most of the inside info) said the real unedited song is around 4 minutes?

You made it?!? Surely you are joking! If not, then congratulations, the editing is totally seamless and the end result is a masterpiece!

To be honest I was wondering why they used the "Wedding Bells" melody (the MOTS tour intro to "Yellow") at the end of the "leaked" Neon Forest but it fits so nicely there that I just assumed that they chose to use it in Neon Forest (in this scenario they would probably never officially release Wedding Bells).

So your explanation that the leaked NF is fan-made certainly makes sense now. Thank you!

P.S. Even knowing now that it is fan-made, I STILL prefer the "leaked" NF to the released one...

 

The Yellow intro was said to be a part of Neon Forest by Phil on Twitter, and it was listed as Neon Forest in the credits to the River Plate concert film. How it was supposed to fit with the rest of Neon Forest I have no idea, and the final album mix gave us no clues. I just took a wild guess. 

If you liked that mix you might like the one I did after the album was actually released. In it the Neon Forest chorus repeats (as it should) and I used the full length Angelsong (from the Full Moon edition). I removed the spoken word bit and the Karate Kid intro sample, but that's just personal preference. This version goes for 7:51, but my dream is to one day have enough pieces released/leaked to edit together a Coloratura length Rainbow.
