Coldplay Live

I just witnessed the best concert i've EVER been too. I was at the Austin City Limit festival in Austin, Texas. It was amazing. Chris even went across the park and climbed the light rafters to sing to the people in the back. Chris said there were 60,000 people there, but i'm not sure if that's right, although i've never seen that many people together at once. I took some pics and filmed a lot of it on my cell phone which surprisingly looked okay. I also recorded the whole concert on a digital recorder and it came out so so. if anyone wants i'll post all this stuff. I'm off to bed for now, but i'll check back tomorrow.

I just wanted to add something...at the St Louis concert a band named Rilo Kiley opened for Coldplay and I went out and bought their CD. Just wanted to let you all know the CD is freaking awsome (in case you didnt already know) You should check them out!!! ;) Joanna

I know everyone here has heard this 1000 times but I have to say, out of all the shows I have seen in my life. Coldplay in Atl was, by far, the greatest perfomance I have ever seen. I had goosebumos the entire night and I wish I could re-live the experience. I wish they would of played longer though. I have never felt so satisfied and still left wanting more. It was my first time seeing Coldplay live. A moment I have waited over 5 yrs for. Thanks for letting me shout it out!

it has been nearly 3 weeks since the Tampa show was axed and we still have no word on what is going on..if you aren't going to make it up just say so so we can get our money back..at this point ticketmaster won't refund the tickets b/c they are waiting in the band..either play or pay..not too hard to figure out

IM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED Just went to the Reading FC Ticket office to book tickets for the game against Sheffield United on Saturday, i heard someone talking about Coldplay being booked to play the Madjeski Stadium on New Years Eve. The Ticket Lady said it was in the pipeline but nothing is official yet.

has anyone become chummy with the coldplay stage/tech crew…in particular, the camera guys in front of the stage…i have a slight crush on the curly haired one on the right side...i think the other guy on the left is named reuben. i wish i had talked to him or had taken a picture. is this bizarre?

Apologies is this has ever been discussed here before, but I have to know. Saw Coldplay for the first time last night in Atlanta and it was a great show. Here is the question - is it me or did the balloons just seem to be drawn towards the stage? About 15-20 dropped from the ceiling during yellow and they all bounced towards the stage and then seemed to disperse evenly off to each side of the stage. Not one of them bounced back towards the crowd. I know that most fans would probably hit them in the direction of Chris and the band, but all of them arriving at the stage and then kind of rolling off to each side of the stage on their own? I was bored so started playing around with setlists. Do you think going from Talk to Amsterdam (finishing main set with Amsterdam) would work?

I was at the show in Bristow, Va last night and thought it was really cool that they played "Trouble." However, i don't remember seeing this on any other setlists. Did they play it at any other shows on the tour?

The Atlanta concert was ELECTRIC. Michael Stipe came out after the encore and sang Nightswimming with Chris on piano. He made 3 speeches about how Atlanta saved them in 2000 and how they loved us for it. Now we need pictures and audio people. What a night. One I will never forget.

Does anyone remember where in "Clocks" did Chris mention Arcade Fire. I heard him insert the words, "People should (something) Arcade Fire". I thought it was so cool he mentioned them a few times. Some meathead was yelling "they suck" whenever Chris would talk about them....sorry about HIS luck.

I was there... front and just off to the right (I even caught a camera Chris tossed right to me :))... Anyone have a definite setlist? I didn't bother to memorize or write it down...

Does he play guitar or just sing with a mike. When it's played live I can only hear 1 guitar so I presume it's just Jonny as I haven't seen it live yet.

Did Jonny do his harmonica solo or did he do the acoustic solo? It's my favourite Coldplay song! :)
