First, I realize I should've probably posted this right after it happened. The concert was over a month ago, and I still haven't talked about it on here! First of all, it was amazing! One of the best nights of my life. I went with my sister, who loves the band as well (her favorite), and she even said the concert was better than the Green Day concert she went to the previous Friday. It started out with a very long set change after Rilo Kiley. They were pretty good, but as you know, it's not why I was there. Our seats were decent. Row Z on the the main level right beside the stage. Row Z doesn't sound very appealing, but it's actually quite perfect. Easy access to the s…

I am going down to the Newcastle gig in December with my friend as it's his christmas present from me. I would like to know how I could get backstage access tickets for the show to make it the best night of his life. If anyone can help that would be great. Cheers

Have you ever experience any big screamers while listening to Coldplay (in person or on bootlegs)? I'd say the loudest I've heard are the girls near the recorder at the Locarno (Switzerland) bootleg from earlier this year. I listen to the different bootlegs on my i-pod at work, but whenever I listen to this one, I have to turn down the volume in advance, so my ear drums don't explode from the screaming. :)

So Coldplay announced no big day out this year, however... the tour they have announced this for next year is basically the same time of year that they played here in 2003... so... will Coldplay make another appearance at the splendour in the grass, possibly to headline? THINK ABOUT THAT!!!

Hello everybody, In this forum i would like to read about how do you feel when you listen to Chris' voice, listen to the lyrics of CP's songs, or when you accually get to see them LIVE. I've never seen them live, but everytime that I listen to their songs i feel something in my heart, i don't know how to describe it but sometimes i feel like i am going to cry, and in other times i feel veeery happy. Does anybody else feel like that because i think that i'm a lil bit crazy. What do YOU think??

I don't like the background of the funky-looking bear wandering back and forth. I get the metaphor, how it correlates with the message of the song. I just think that it detracts from the the performance. I just don't like it.

Just got in from the Raleigh show, which was excellant! Here's the setlist, with a few notes: Square One Politik Yellow God Put a Smile on Your Face Speed of Sound Low Rush of Blood to the Head Everything's Not Lost * White Shadows The Scientist** 'Til Kingdom Come Ring of Fire Don't Panic*** Clocks Talk Encore: Swallowed by the Sea In My Place Fix You * - Chris said he was playing this song for all of us out on the lawn. Changed the intro lyrics and they were quite funny! :D ** - This was hilarious! False start by Chris. Then Chris starting playing, made it through the first verse ..... started coughing and tried to keep going. Guy comes ove…

hey guys! I just signed up for this site. I went to Coldplay's concert in Atlanta on Wednesday, and there are no words to explain how moving and utterly brilliant it was. i have been an extremely huge fan of Coldplay since the release of Rush of Blood, and going to this an coldplay concert was merely a fantasy. but i went, and i had literally the time of my life. Our seats were awesome! 10-15 rows from the stage, for a pretty swell price. It is extremely hard to find the highlight of the concert b/c every damn song they played was sooo beautiful. However, i have to say i was quite moved in the REM song, not Micheal Stipe, but the piano by Martin. Af…

It's become apparent to me that I'm almost 18 and I've never been to a real concert. So, I decided that this truly needed to be fixed. And, so... Out of curiosity... Is anybody else going?

Hey, I've pretty much have CP's whole catalogue, but here is one live version that I have but don't know what it is called. I originally thought it was "The Worlds Turned" since that lyric is in the chorus, but now that the song has been officially released as a fix you b-side, it is not the same song. Here is the first verse and chorus: Can you hear that sound, I can feel it in me now Coming from a ground, coming up to pick them out Can you feel it stop, like a bird in a china shop Or when you start those sparks When it starts you should never stop, no oh, tend to the doesn't who does who doesn't who choose whose chosen who must who musn't who rests …

I'd just like to know if anyone on this forum is still holding on to their tickets from the show that was cancelled @ the CWMitchell Pavillion. What will you do with your tickets?! Wait or Refund? I waited six whole loooong months for that show. I had a count down and everything and was so bummed out when it was cancelled. Lucky are the many who have already seen them live. This was going to be my first show of Coldplay! :( I hope they don't forget us!!! Thanx if you gave a care!

Hey guys :) I'd really appreciate your opinion on concert tickets seating etc. This will be the greatest concert i'll ever see in my life im sure of it hehe. So i was just curious of your opinions. Is it more enjoyable to sit, or stand at a coldplay concert? Sorry if that sounds silly, i just want to enjoy it as much as i can :P plus im having a difficult time deciding! So what do you recommend? What are the best bits and the worst bits? Thanks!

As good as the electric set was, a month after my show (Raleigh) I find the acoustic part sticks with me as the most memorable and, not surprisingly, the most personal. It blew me away! Anybody else have an opinion? PS............If anybody knows a video or audio of the acoustic "Don't Panic" (from any concert) I'd be forever grateful! That was the greatest.
