Coldplay have added a second date to their UK Summer Tour - they will now play in Glasgow's Bellahouston Park not only on July 1st, but also Saturday July 2nd. More dates are sure to follow when others sell out...

in the latest news article on the official site, right at the bottom Debs says that they are now in the states preparing for the show on the 12th, and a string of live dates. I thought we only knew about one date, perhaps they are announcing more very soon?

Although only UK dates were announced, the email did say this was to kick off their world tour. So I was just curious, i know we will hear in the coming weeks when the rest of the dates are, but when and where do you think they will be. I personally hope they play in Toronto, Canada so I can go see, and to be really selfish I hope they come on August 7th, my birthday!

As everyone should have seen on the main page, Chris Martin has said that this may be Coldplay's last album. But he also said that they will never top this. They are so overly critical that he said they may not even finish this album if it is not shop worthy. We must all remember he said the same thing after A Rush Of Blood To The Head. I'm starting to wonder what to believe from his words. You can never tell if he is dead serious, or just saying it. It would be disasterous for the band to break up. I know we all really anticipate this album, and hopefully it won't be their last because they have so many years ahead of them.

I know there has been a cut-off date for the in my place presale tickets, but I am just curious how this system works, and what everyone thinks of it? I mean I know its not first come first serve that makes me a little more releived because those things make me nervous, but is it just luck of the draw, or does priority go to older members. And what happens if someone is registered with two accounts or more? That really increases their chances for tickets.

Glastonbury sources revealed this week that Coldplay will headline this year's festival, along with The White Stripes and Kylie on the Pyramid Stage. It was confirmed to Virtual Festivals the acts that will be headlining the Pyramid Stage. As rumoured for weeks, The White Stripes will play Friday, Coldplay on Saturday, with Kylie finishing things off on Sunday.
