The World Of Music

Has anyone here attended an audio post secondary school? I'm looking into going into Audio Engineering after I finish high school this year. I was looking at a school called Trebas in Toronto. The guy who produced the album that won album of the year and record od the year at the 2009 Grammy's graduated from trebas.

I think Rodrigo y Gabriela deserve their own thread 'cos they're such a great band and I have noticed they're not too well-known over here, so I decided to start a thread about them! :smug: They are a duo from Mexico that play acoustic guitar, but their songs are only instrumental. Okay..who's a fan?? I would say that i'm somewhat of a fan..i've been listening to his album lately and it's really good.... his last two released songs are definitely growing on me... What do you all think? (This should be interesting...)

May 05, 2009 01:57 PM ET Cortney Harding, N.Y. Interpol's lead singer, lyricist and guitarist Paul Banks will release a solo album under the name Julian Plenti, according to the Matador Records blog. The new project, "Skyscraper," will be released on August 4th. Banks has written and performed under the Plenti moniker for several years, according to a source close to the situation. While the album was recorded recently, some of the songs were written more than ten years ago.
