His Ghost Stories kit looks quite different to me from the Yamaha absolutes he's always played, with different lug shapes on the toms and it's unique matte finish. I know he's added more electronic drums, but anyone know what his basic acoustic kit is now?

Hello everyone! I'm completely in love with Ghost Story (The Target Bonus track). I know the chords are D, C, G in standard tuning EADGBe. But...I have a feeling that Chris is playing his chords in a different tuning. Can anybody pinpoint the tuning and how to play the chords?

Hi I've got an Yamaha Gt20 Grand touch Piano but it doesn't sounds exactly like Chris' ones, but it's the same Piano! There are Midi in and Midi out connections. So is it possible to play the same sounds on my piano like Chris Martin uses them in clocks or Fix You?? :)

I love playing exactly what Chris Martin plays, especially when I play acoustic guitar. Cause every other way you play it just doesn't have the Coldplay sound. Hey guys, I play piano as a hobby, and as CP is my favorite band, I tend to closely analyze what piano Chris plays. It's well documented that Chris played a Yamaha GT-20 from AROBTTH all the way through MX. For those that don't know, (even though there are threads on it), this is a type of hybrid piano in which the acoustic "guts" of a piano, such as the action are included in the piano, but the soundboard, strings, and other bits are missing. The hammers hit sensors in the GT-20 and then the sound is produced electronically. The GT-20 is seen below. So recently I've had 'Ink' on repeat and have been entranced by that riff Jonny is playing in the background. I don't know if this is the right thread, but tomorrow I'm doing my first vocal performance to In My Place and I'm Yours to a live audience for my school. I consider myself a pretty good singer, since I have practically the same range as Chris, which is why I like to sing Coldplay songs. But anyways, does anyone have any advice for singing live? I'm a tad nervous, though I know all the lyrics. I'm opening for the show so there will be a lot of pressure :D

Hello to the best people in the world (coldplayers). I am 19 year old artist and wanted to share with you a new song that my friend and I made. The beat itself is largely influenced by Coldplay. The piano, chords, guitar riff, and structure is very similar of something Coldplay would do in my opinion so I think you may like it. It is like a mixture of Coldplay and Hip-Hop. I dont actually sing, but I do still learn how to play guitar a lot -- still need a lot of improvement :D But anyways, this song mesmerizes me and sometimes makes me cry.
