Hi dudes, I really like this song (just found it a few months ago on youtube) and now after my university test I again spend a lot of time on learning the guitar. I would appreciate it alot if anyone could make up what the chords are for this song! Found nothing but one or two requests on other sites for these chords. The song sounds great (even though Natalie Imbruglia got the song for her Album in 2009)! Videos: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE1g0J5f49I]Coldplay - Lukas (Excellent Audio) - YouTube[/ame] (with faint noises of chris' voice in the background) or the album version from natalie imbruglia: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1T51dATOGkk…

This might be my personal favorite on the "album," can't believe they didn't keep it for the standard version of "ghost stories," but I'm glad they released it one way or another. I've attached a link to a cover I put together this weekend. Although the chords themselves are not what you would call exotic, working out this one out so that it sounded to my ears to be the way CM plays it proved a little bit of a challenge. Think I got it though. I'm going to try uploading some chord diagrams and if that doesn't pan out, i'll suck it up and write out tablature, something i'm just frankly bad at. This cover is a full step down (or two frets/full step) but the chords …

Hello! I've been looking almost 2 months for chords on how Chris plays Charlie Brown but they all r incorrect. I have been looking through the forums and see that ppl say the tuning is 1/2 step down which kinda made sense when I played the chords according to tuning. But EVERYTHING just doesn't seem right. Anyways I just want the CORRECT tuning and the CORRECT chords that go with the tuning. Make sure it's accurate so when I go on Youtube and watch Chris play it it's correct! Thx for your time :)

This song was never released in my home country of the US, but I heard it for probably the fourth or fifth time yesterday. Even if you aren't a fan, there is something remarkably creative about it, I think. I did this cover by ear. Using an open tuning (E-b-e-g#-b-e) with a capo on the 7th. The key of the song is actually in C so to play along with the record the capo would go on the 8th. I just fretted the 4th string at the 1st and 3rd frets relative to the capo for the csus4 and I believe I fretted the 6th string fifth fret (whichever fret makes an F note) and plucked it with and A note on the fifth (10th fret maybe) then up to a B note toe frets higher then a half…

hello fellow coldplayers, i've noticed there has been quite a small influx of "accurate" Paradise tabs around the interwebs so i've decided to tab it out myself by ear and just watching Jonny play it live. sooo give it a shot and tell me what you think yeah? i'm sure alot of you have heard the song many times by now to be able to piece the different parts together in order :P and dont worry im pretty sure this is at least 99.99% accurate  Intro part 1 (Distortion + Reverb) e|--------------------------------------------------| B|--------------------------------------------------| G|--------------------------------------------------|3x D|--------------------…

[video=youtube;wngW6wGqp-4]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wngW6wGqp-4 This is a silly question, but how are the first 4 chords played in this song? It seems like all the youtube cover versions sound wrong, especially on the 3rd and 4th chord.

BOOM! I'm back. Let's roll. As seen in this video: http://www.themercury.com.au/video/id-JjNDBjbjq23vR0Z8GH5WYQuWbTXk-QbS ----- Chris uses Standard Tuning with a Capo on 2nd. There are 4 chords in the verse and chorus then 3 in the bridge. CHORDS ARE RELATIVE TO THE CAPO ON 2ND Verse Chords (You can figure out the strumming, just watch him): 1. E - X/9 (Mute or strum this, whatever sounds better to you) A - 11 D - 11 G - 9 B - 9 E - 0 2. E - X/5 (Same as above) A - 7 D - 7 G - 6 B - 0 E - 0 3. E - X A - 2 D - 2 G - 1 B - 0 E - 0 4. E - X/4 A - 6 D - 6 G - 4 B - 4 E - 0 Alright that is the verse and chorus --BRIDGE--(ENDI…

Hey guys, So i went to a Coldplay show in Sydney last night and managed to get right up close to JB. I've noticed he's playing with a different amp, no longer Fender Twin Reverbs. This amp is a lot bigger but sounds pretty much the same. I also managed to get a pick at the end of the show and found he uses a USA Nylon .72mm pick. Such a great guitarist to see live. Sorry if you already knew this info but it was new to me :P

So I used to have a tabs thread but I kind of let it die. So I'll restart it now just to post some of the tabs I've made the past few months. Apologies, Zergio or anyone else if it's one you've already done though. If you go through my previous tabs thread, I also added some bass parts and fixed mistakes in various songs (Yellow, the Masterplan, to name a couple) so those are worth a look if you're interested. Anyways, first up is Us Against the World complete with Chris, Jonny, and Guy's parts (no Will, sorry...leaving that to the Champion :p)! :) WARNING - the forum may resize some of these posts so the ideal thing is if you C+P what I've written into another text…

Can anyone tell me what guitar tuning Chris uses on Hurts Like Heaven? I know he has the capo at the 6th fret but is it then tuned to an open E chord at the 6th fret? Thats as close as I can figure. Lots of stuff on net but most seems wrong. Any help appreciated.

Hey guys. Just wanted to share a guitar based rendition/cover of "O." Originally did it on piano which was a major challenge even with MIDI post note editing cause I'm not a piano player. Actually came out ok, but I thought it'd be worth seeing how it sounded on guitar. Pleasantly suprised. If anyone would like the chord shapes I used, tuning etc. just let me know. Thanks. -Charlie. https://soundcloud.com/cedmo013/o-acoustic

This is the chord progression from the verses of "Don't let it break your heart" Not played on guitar on the record if I recall, but sounds great on any instrument (well any polyphonic instrument, it'd be tough to pull off on a tuba or something). It's Bsus4 / Bmaj/D# / G#min11 / E sus2. I think it's kind of genius.
