so thing is, i have a 4 years old laptop, i use two systems (windows and linux). mostly i work on linux, but still it gets too high temperature, not the first time that it had shut down itself when streaming video. i had implemented -doubled- the memory ram, hadn't changed the graphics. i brought it to the technician while ago but no changes since then, he said problem may be in the battery but then is worthless to buy a new battery cause buying a new laptop is a lot cheaper. today while playing the sims on windows -which i hardly ever use- it has crashed totally, it says fatal error has ocurred, and seems it finds no windows at all :| even the rescue option seem…

OMG! Just found out about some naming mistakes the iTunes Store has with the Coldplay songs:cry: -On the Single "Fix You" they mixed the names of the song "The World Turned" and the song "Poor Me (Live at Hollywood..... )" . I just realized it as the song tagged as live wasn't actually live and the other wasn't as they wanted me to believe:laugh3: I mailed Apple about the problem long time ago, but it seems as they haven't done anything:veryangry2: And the title "The World Turned" isn't complete as the song is called "The World Turned UPSIDEDOWN" :shocked2: -The LP's "Viva a Vida or Death and all His Friends" song titles are not completely. They do not name the …

Sky tells boxing fans to watch David Haye fight 'down the pub' Sky was ridiculed by boxing fans after advising them to go to the pub to watch Saturday's pay-per-view fight between David Haye and Wladimir Klitschko. There was huge demand to see the world heavyweight title contest and technical problems with the online and telephone booking services meant many would-be viewers were unable to buy it in the hours immediately before the first bell. Some angry fans who had booked the Sky Box Office event in advance also rang radio phone-ins to complain they had not been able to see it. The official Sky HD Twitter feed contained a series of messages apologising for the …

Is this the world's biggest wedding cake? Princess Charlene and Prince Albert's lavish wedding night party There were reports that their wedding cake might not be as extravagant as Prince Rainer's when he married Grace Kelly. But it appears that Prince Albert of Monaco and his new bride Princess Charlene definitely pulled out all of the stops by ensuring their cake came out tops. The five tier cake was truly exceptional and dwarfed the couple as they stood next to it and prepared to cut a much smaller version for their guests. Always keen to pay homage to her roots Princess Charlene ensured the cake was also decorated with Proteas, South Africa's national flower…

Justice Secretary Ken Clarke: "People are entitled to use whatever force is necessary to protect themselves and their homes" Right to self-defence in homes to be 'much clearer' Justice Secretary Ken Clarke has said a householder who knifes a burglar will not have committed a criminal offence under plans to clarify the law on self-defence in England. He told the BBC people were entitled to use "whatever force necessary" to protect themselves and their homes. David Cameron recently said the issue should be put "beyond doubt". Labour said the law was "already clear" and the remarks were a "smokescreen" to hide confusion over sentencing changes. Mr Clarke has come un…

Tens of thousands of murderers, rapists and violent criminals could escape prosecution following a "bizarre" legal ruling. The ruling, made by a district judge at Salford Magistrates' Court and backed by the High Court, means an end to the practice of releasing people on bail and calling them back for further questioning later - a common practice in most major inquiries. Police forces can no longer put anyone out on bail for more than 96 hours without either being in a position to charge or release them. After the four days is up, officers can no longer question suspects and can only rearrest them if they have new evidence, the ruling says. Police chiefs have been …

The MPA, the industry body for a number of movie studios, said it was targeting BT first as the largest internet service provider in the UK. BT confirmed it would be in court later but did not make any further comment. The MPA wants BT to block Newzbin with the same system that stops access to sites hosting child sex abuse images. The members-only…
