The ad is about 20 seconds long at most, and it mainly shows some guys surfing on surfboards that have glowing LEDs attached to the underside. Now, the only thing I'm interested in is that freaking song playing in the background. I searched the entire internet for it but to no avail. Annie Mac is to be the new host of BBC Radio 1's weekday evening new music show with current host Zane Lowe leaving to go to work for Apple in the US. Lowe has hosted the night-time show, which is broadcast Monday to Thursday 7-9pm, since 2003. He will be replaced by Mac from Monday, March 9. This is way, way off topic but anyway, I went to my doctor earlier for a check up and I was surprised when I saw that they've gone digital. LOL I didn't even know that there are now Electronic Health Records. So I was wondering how popular this kind of software is. Does your doctor use this kind of system too? I think this way's better since they can access lots of medical data easily. Don't you think so? Though there's of course the risk of getting hacked. What do you think of this step from old-fashioned to digital? Do you think this way is better? What, in your opinion, are the pros and cons?

A place to recommend or request documentary suggestions. I really enjoyed The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein recently. She has also written a book on the same topic which I have just started. It is about our model of capitalism and the way that it feeds off disasters (natural disasters, economic disasters and man made disasters such as war) and uses these to further widen the gap between the rich and the poor by taking advantage of these periods of uncertainty in order to crush any form of social mobilisation.
