Viva la Vida (song)

Don't get me wrong, VLV is a LOVELY song. But, it's way too cheesy for me. How can you compare VLV to Strawberry Swing or Chinese Sleep Chant or Yes or even Lovers in Japan?! Again, I am sorry for the bitch fest. But, does anyone at all agree with me?

It was initially released with the iTunes Store preorder of the album in early May and eligible as a download-only track in May 25. Can it now chart in Uk??? now that nis not a downpayment...

Can anyone help me find any reviews online? I went to metacritic and it's not listed on there yet. I cannot stop listening to this masterpiece of an album.....so political in some respects and yet so upbeat! Wow

Just heard the title track on my local radio station in the UK boy!!! what a track instantly memorable i think one of the best the lads have done just cannot wait for the full album. Just hoping I can get a ticket tommorow for Sheffield Arena.

Don't think this has been posted yet... I think i may have just stumbled upon the artwork for the single Viva La Vida. I was wondring if there is an electric guitar in Viva La Vida. In the iTunes ad there is Buckland playing it, but i also read on here there isnt. And also, when Coldplay perform LIVE at the MTV MA, is Chris going to be playing some sort of string table and Will will have a percussion table. I just cant imagine this song being played live and sound the same on the album version.

This is not a single, It's only available if you buy the whole album and still - 41-10 this week! It's unbeliveable... if this song was the first single insted of VH I think it were break all the records... AMAizing, with not radio airplay or something. I have a question... this sold 239.000 copies in 2 weeks in the us... that meens the album sold 239.000 too? cuz it can only be download if you buy the album... 250.000 only from pre-oreder in ITUNES? OMG if that's true...

At exactly 3:00 minutes into the song, there is a wonderful backup vocal being sung, and it's not Chris. Is it Guy? I hope so. Guy singing live would be so great.

As of the time of this post, the "Viva la Vida" single has shot to the #5 spot on iTunes Top 10 Songs, and the "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends" pre-order has shot to #1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart. Pretty incredible. This album really is going to completely rock the music world.
