A bit of a brash title, but brash because its honest... Life is hard yes? I got like 4 emails from Busybeeurns and I decided to take a peak aboutthe place again, and look what I come to find: Coldplay better than Oasis and Radiohead. Good my golly, I dont really give a fuck about Oasis (But theyre still better than Coldplay) but what is it that makes Coldplay good? Parachutes was mildly interesting and that was only because they stuck to being ANOTHER band making mainstream music, and they are a (Shrieks) DECENT band. But on Rush of Blood I guess they just tried to be the band that they simply arent; an interesting, melodic un-formulated band. The music is simply a …

I live in Atlanta and I have decided to take a trip to Europe for six weeks! I fly into Dublin in the last week of September. I am going to hit dublin, belfast, glasgow, edinburgh, london, oxford, paris, brussels, amsterdam, berlin, prague, vienna, budapest, innsbruck, munich, berne, milan, venice, florence, san marino, rome, bologna, genoa, monaco, marseille, barcelona, valencia, madrid, lisbon and then back to dublin. Needless to say, I am pumped. Any tips on where to stay cheap, what to do, where to eat? Remember, cheap is the key! Thanks.

"On the other hand, she enjoys all sorts of little pleasures, putting her hand in a bag of seeds, piercing the crust of crème brûlée with the tip of a spoon. And play at ducks and drakes on the Saint-Martin-canal." I was inspired by the movie 'Amélie' to create this thread. What are some of life's simple pleasures that you enjoy so much? Ones that might seem so minuscule, but make you smile or feel happy? It doesn't have to be this big thing, maybe it's something that you do everyday, or something that only happens once in a blue moon. Anything is possible. Whatever you find joy in. I actually filled pages of my jou…

My parents can't really help me there... and now I've realised that this really must be the end of a careless life...wow that's so strange...suddenly you are confronted with typical life problems you didn't even think about some months ago....some months ago you were still a kid who went to school...everybody cared for you...your teachers....everyone....and now you have to care for yourself.... that's pretty sad actually....how nice was my life wh…

I am starting this thread to allow everyone a chance to speak their mind, heart and soul. If there's one thing we need, it's a chance to say what we're really feeling, without all the static. That's what Coldplay's music embodies eloquently, and it's a sorely needed exercise in this often repressive world. So I will begin: In a planet of people aware of the consequences of disparities between rich and poor; north and south: Why do we echo the errors of the past so long? Is it human nature to follow patterns, regardless of their flaws; are we to be myopic, or far-sighted? Is it fear of change (of mindsets)? Are we capable of being driven by foresight, or …
