Robert Redford + Paul Newman =

Taken

4.5/10

Awful acting, overall story was boring and predictable. The fight scenes were great though.

The Blind Side: 9/10

The Fourth Kind: It's difficult to judge because I really don't know whether to believe it or not. I think it must have been fiction, but at the same time it seemed so real! 7/10 I guess.

The one with Liam Neeson? I was so disappointed with that movie. Normally he's such a good actor. But that movie was just....ugh. *shudders*

Repo-Men-Poster.jpg

This movie was graphic, gory, violent, dark, twisted, and funny. Did I mention violent? Plus it had the added bonus of Jude Law being shirtless at least 5 times in it.

This was MY kind of movie. :dozey: I really don't think there has ever been a time where I sat in a theater and loved every single minute of it as much as I loved this. This was a movie I would pay to see again. Everything about this movie was brilliant, granted the plot moved a bit slow in the middle of it and some things were left out, but it was brilliant none the less. Even the music played was brilliant.

I would really suggest to go see this in a theater, it's worth the money. Not for those who are squimish around blood though. :P

7/10 All the people they met were off their rocker. This movie was hillarious. :laugh3:

Shutter Island,

i liked it very much. I don't tend to go see thrillers or movies like that in the cinema, but i'm glad I did.

8/10.

Slumdog Millionaire- 8/10

I think I've already voted on this film before in this thread, and possibly gave it only a 5 or 6 because I was forced to watch it and enthused that it was amazing. I really didn't like it (And actually I would've rated it less if it wasn't for MIA's inclusion in the soundtrack, kinda like, if she thinks its cool, then even if I hate it, it must be half cool) but watching it again, I put the hype out of my mind, it is a very good film.

Sophie Scholl- The Final Days

Pretty straight forward, but with some interesting scenes.

Really good. By one of New Zealands best directors (excluding Peter Jackson)

Lovely movie. A lot of it was a very nz happy funny thing, which was cool, but some of it was an almost frightening family drama....

Interesting how he put those together...

good...

Mammoth

The Elephant Man
