Last night I dreamt that a song on Kaleidoscope featured a duet on guitar between Matt Bellamy and Jonny haha. How I wish this would ever come true, and our Jonnyboy could finally get the recognition for the great guitarist he really is. :relieved:

Was sitting in the student coffeeshop today, and Something Just Like This came up on the radio, first time I heard it in public.

And while I usually get excited when i hear a Coldplay song in public, I have to say got a bit embarassed for a moment, because...you know...this EDM club song, now a huge single with the name of Coldplay ?

In that moment I felt a bit like a proud mom whose kid has embarassed itself when I know it has the capacity to do better, if you know what I mean :P

 

I just wanted to say what went through my head when I first heard the song publicly, don't wanna offend anyone who likes the song of course.

anyway, the reason i came here just now is to give you guys another

~~POST FULL OF DREAMS~~

you know when you wake up with a little bit of time left before your alarm goes off, so you end up drifting back into sleepland and have the weirdest dreams? this happened to me this morning.

and somehow, i was invited to Chris's house - which, in retrospect, was actually my childhood home irl but was not supposed to be in this dream :p - and we were just hanging out in the kitchen. Chris was playing some new music (or trying to make new music) on this VIVA era piano with some interesting pedals on top. he was playing this melody that made me think of PoC a little, so i was singing PoC along to it and he stopped, looked at me and said, "Oh, is that what it is?" and i told him that it just reminded me of PoC, not that it sounded exactly the same, but i think he was upset about it anyway :p

then the piano sort of turned into a normal table and Chris was on this like old-school calculator looking device? you know, the kinds that had the receipt printers on them. i don't know what was actually going on in this part of the dream, like maybe he was using the calculator (which must have been a fully functional computer?) to order something online and then printed some long thing out... i don't even know. but then Apple was in the kitchen baking cookies and one of my sisters showed up and i think from there the dream fell apart. then i woke up. the end. :p :D

Lol my dreams aren't that weird when I dream about Coldplay. For example today I dreamt (coldception?) I was at a music award concert and the was performing that day. They were doing a soundcheck but there were some fans there going crazy for Chris who was in the b stage. I had seating tickets and I thought about distracting the people who verify we had the correct ticket to be in the standing area but I couldn't so I watched Chris far away :D I think that's a pretty normal Coldplay dream :p

Chris is asking the real questions here.

I had a crazy Coldplay dream last night....it finally involved Chris and Jonny instead of my usual Will and Guy!

I was at some rec center/swimming pool place with a whole bunch of other people my age. We were going to split up into groups and swim, and each group had an instructor. (I have no idea where this idea came from because I have never been on a swim team or anything of the like.) Anyway, I got talking to my instructor, and it turns out she was someone who workd for the band (or maybe Will's wife, I can't remember.) Apparently Coldplay were back in Denver for a (surprise?) concert, and I didn't have tickets! She said that the tour bus should be stopping by in a few minutes, and we could hop on! So she asked what song I wanted to request, and I said Hurts Like Heaven, and she got really exited and said "Where?!" I said, "Here in Denver!" And she said, "No, like where in the setlist?! I never thought anyone would request that song!" I told her I asked the band to play it when I wrote them a letter before my last show, but they never did, so it's possible Debs or Phil vetoed it. (So maybe Debs is the reason why only a few songs get requested! :p).

Right then, the tour bus pulled up, and we got on. Chris was inside, and I think maybe Guy was sitting near the back, possibly rehearsing HLH. We talked to Chris for a while, but I forget what he said. I then noticed Jonny was standing outside the bus and was wearing a helmet haha. I screamed "Jonny!" and ran to the window to talk to him. I asked him why he was outside, and he said he likes to stand on a little platform attached to the side of the bus because he likes to feel the wind as they drive lol. Anyway, that was it because then I woke up.
