Berbatov nodded in on the line after 95 seconds before firing home easily after Roger Johnson had given the ball away. Ryan Giggs, in masterful form, lifted the unbeaten league leaders to heights they have rarely hit this season. He finished off a brilliant move just before half-time at Old Trafford, then Berbatov converted a Giggs cross for his third and Nani slotted a fifth. Seriously though, he has an instinct, he saw his team-mate shaping up to shoot from an unlikely position and off-balance, so he tucks in behind the defender, going wide of the goal anticipating a parry, he will make little movements like that every single time a situation like that occurs, and one in 5 times it'll drop to him. I've always questioned the talent of goalscorers like Lineker, Inzaghi, Raul, but you can't deny the goalscoring records (Look at Bents) and that some just have that instinct, and I think Bent will easily get into double figures for Villa by the end of the season.

How the hell can you question the talents of those great goalscorers yet praise who is merely a good consistent goal scorer at club level only and nothing else. Has Bent ever performed on the international stage? Has he fuck! Largely abysmal in an England shirt. And has Bent ever scored a goal like this against opposition of this quality? Linekar, Raul and Inzhagi have had a technical ability in the box that was light years of what Bent can do.
