YAY! Thanks!

Okay, looks like I might have to eat my hat about a Lovers in Japan video for right now. Alas, I wanted to see that. Someday soon, hopefully!

Heh, I mentioned it on page 2 of the thread that it might be like Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence..

The Anton Corbijn video is awesome!:laugh3:

And it was shot in the Netherlands, yay!:p

I quite like the second version - it has a bit more whimsy to it, even if it is a complete rip-off of Depeche Mode.

The first one is nice, but a bit blah. The Delacroix imagery comes through nicely.

Ok I'm kind of confused what are the two versions you guys are talking about? Is the first version considered the iTunes commercial?

Nevermind I am an idiot, I should of just checked their website.

The second version is a lot better and it's cheesiness is great, when the first video is trying to be serious and just comes off as cheesy.

why does everybody likes more the second version, I think the first is a lot better, I wouldn't like the second to be the one on tv

I agree with Holycatfish totally and that is just why I would not want to see my favourite one on tv..
