This collab don't surprise me. Flo has always said she loves hip-hop and R'n'B.... I'm more surprised she didn't do anything with Dizzee on the new record since they seemed so much "in tune" after their multiple dirty love performances.

Anyway, wati & see. Flo can make anything sound good so I'm not really worried even if I would have prefered another collab (COLD WAR KIDS!!!! :bomb: ->see the Coachella perf from last year with Nathan)

Thx for putting the lyrics! I didn't listen to that kind of music at all, so Drake is just another name for me and really don't know what is singing. Plus, as a french, even if my english level is ok, I have a HARD time deciphering rap/hip-hop songs....the flow is way too fast and the articulation is incomprehensible to me...

Too bad it's a lame one that collaborates with Flo... just hope he will only add some 'yeaah-yeah....bring it on" on choruses and that all.

i can see where deciphering lyrics would be tough with rap songs... especially since they rarely use proper grammar and punctuation :shifty:

he can totally roast some public figure one minute

unburden himself about his private life the next

rap something hilarois the next minute.

 

Drake however, is slower than hell with his rapping and the lyricism... as you saw makes Cat in the Hat look like Shakespeare.

Just in the middle of it, rather average town at 1h from Paris by train :) But in here rap/r'n'b is not as popular as in the US. General radio station plays only big names like Eminem or Rihanna but to listen to more artists of that genre you have to listen to specific rap/r'n'b radio stations, that I carefully avoid :D I'm listening to a rock station radio called OUÏ FM. It only plays rock/indie/alternativ. If you listen online, you can chose 'players' by genre either: indie, alternativ, blues or 'collector' (big rock hits like Rolling stones, Queen, beatles etc)
