xmonstermaggie 0
Oh, and also, I see that there were VIP tickets last time. Any idea if that'll be the case again this time? And if so, how on Earth would I get some?!

ApproximatelyInfinite 2
Oh man, so going again, VIP passes from Ian/elsewhere or not. You have to get there EARLY, FYI. Last time Coldplay played, I'm pretty sure that was the record audience for the Today Show.

dayna 0
Yeah, I figured. Any idea how early? I got there around 1am last time and I think we were about 40 or 50 people back in line. This time, I'm planning on getting there late Thursday evening.. like 9:30, 10. If you plan on getting there that early, bring stuff to do (like a deck of cards or something)... and maybe an inflatable pool raft. Some lady ahead of us in line had one for herself and one for her son so they could nap while they waited, which was an awesome idea... and I'm gonna do the same thing. busybeeburns 21
Chase Levy no longer works for NBC, if we're getting VIP tickets then fingers crossed someone has taken over his address book and workload!

The whole night/morning was the best Coldplay experience I ever had. The only thing I'm worried about this time is how cold it will get in the middle of the night. :\
jasmynebirch 0
I am surprised more people aren't excited for this! Who is going? I have bought my tickets to NY and booked a room. I am bringing my 7yr old daughter Violet. We are so excited!!!
coldplayluv 0
For those of you who went last time what made it your best Coldplay experience ever? I am just trying to decide if it would be worth it to fly out to NY from Los Angeles for this.

I am just trying to decide if it would be worth it to fly out to NY from Los Angeles for this. I loved it. The boys came out in plain clothes and played like 4 or 5 songs. Then they kept playing them a few times over and over to get the sound right. They changed and did a little acoustic set for just us and then the show. It was so great to see them play in the morning in the city with buildings and tour buses and morning bustle all around us. You got to see the anchors interview the band. I liked the feel of seeing the behind the scenes stuff....It was definitely a unique experience. Plus I met a lot of Colpldayers.
