What do you think, which song will be the next MX single?

 

I'm not sure, but I would really like Hurts Like Heaven to be the next single with some colorful, cartoonish video.

If not, I would like either DLIBYH, Up with the birds or Charlie Brown.

Maybe it won't be PoC, they might surprise us. However, I'm sure if it is, that the 4th single will be either Charlie Brown or HLH.

Princess of China, Charlie Brown or Hurts Like Heaven I think. I think they'll be the next three singles at some point anyway.

Princess of China might not be. That whole thing with "oh Rihanna wouldn't do a song which was just an album track!!!!!!1!1111!!!!!!! trolololololololololol, etc..." is not always the case. Think of Snoop Dogg on Plastic Beach by Gorillaz, that song wasn't a single was it? Yet Rhinestone Eyes was a single.

Well the obvious hopefully singles in the album that are next are CHARLIE BROWN, HLH, AND POC

Don't want it to be Charlie Brown as the radio will overplay it and I'll start disliking the song. The same thing happened with VLV.

I hope they do Charlie Brown to diversify. They did the pop approach and made tons of people buy the album....it's time to go the other way now and show the "classic" Coldplay (as far as CB being classic goes).

 

Perhaps POC will come in early-mid 2012 to prime it for Grammies season better?

 

I'd really like to see ANY of the tracks as singles (the only ones that really don't work are the instrumentals and UFO). The rest are all either catchy (DLIBYH, HLH) or straight up beautiful (UATW, UIF)...UWTB and MM are on the intersection of those two categories.

 

So I believe it will be:

1. ETIAW

2. Paradise

3. Charlie Brown (December)...with Charlie Brown Christmas video, I hope.

4. Hurts Like Heaven

5. POC

 

My life would be made if UATW or DLIBYH made it as singles but that's not realistically happening.

I agree that UATW should be a single at some point. It's been a while since they had a quiet song as a single, I would say since The Scientist. Fix You was not 100% quiet.

Or to be different from the dynamics of the last singles why not " Up in flames ". I imagine a beautiful video for this song. You know the kind of video which keep you from changing the channel on the Television. :)
