(laughing) I guess our fathers are kinda the same ^^

Check this out ;)

My 2 Xylobands glowing again yesterday evening :wacky:

HAPPY :)

how the hell did you make the blue one blink a few times in a row?

did you know (i just dismanteled it and soldered it loose etc) it contains 3 3V batteries? oh and the 6 leds are connected parallel, red wires are + and black -

they shine at their brightest if they are supplied with the 6V from the 2 staggered 3V batteries and having one of the black wires connected to the - side or any other part connected with it.

but in order to work completely, it is necessary to find out the exact radio frequencies... did anybody try to contact the manufacturer? or whoever is in charge of radio wave related things, e.g. it has to be permitted by some commission that those certain frequencies are emmitted during a show? (in germany i'm thinking of the "bundesnetzagentur" or whatever it is) and what the hell are those codes for??

I honestly don't know how I've done this...

I simply turned my paperclip in my Xyloband & approximately found where I had to keep the paperclip pressed to keep the Xyloband lighted.

It blinked because it don't stay always lighted... Just that. :)

Hope this helped you ;)

^Congrats on your 300 posts! :awesome: :D

It would be so cool if we'd have xylobands in Paris in September! :awesome:

AhAh! Thanks :) I didn't noticed that I reached 300 posts^^

We are gonna have Xylobands again in 2012 ;)

Take a look on the Twitter from the creator of LED Wristbands :

https://twitter.com/#!/Jayreg1969

He said that the Xylobands will be part of the 2012 Coldplay's gigs =) ...and that there will be added more different color like: Yellow & Orange :wacky:

On the manufacturer's website it says:

"Frequency is 869.5 Mhz for UK and Europe and xxxx for US. For other regions we need to check legality."

Maybe that'll help?

The flashing life is 2 to 3 hours non-stop. Batteries can be replaced.

Nice!

1 to 100 units – Not available yet, keep an eye on website for party packs

101 to 2,000 units – Not available yet, keep an eye on website for event packs

2,000 to 5,000 units – $7.00 per unit

5,000 to 50,000 units – $6.00 per unit

50,000 to 100,000 units – $5.50 per unit

100,000 to 1million units – $5.00 per unit

Wow, didn't see they updated the product info page. So uhm... who has an transmitter that can send out 869.5 Mhz? :D

Woohoo Ceren.. I'm so happy you have one.. :D What a great idea the sharing is.. :D

I did the paperclip thing and it worked. But today I was so shocked as it was flashing (non-stop) when I entered my room!! Had to use the paperclip to turn it off but it still flashes once from time to time :S

Is it possible to deactivate it after using the trick with the paperclip ?

Only just saw this thread again. Found a paperclip and it works :D

Thanks!

OOoooh this is amazing!!! I just spent about 15 minutes poking around in my xyloband until it finally worked! I'm so happy right now! Maybe a bit too much, but I guess it brings back all the memories from 5 weeks ago and makes me remember that I SAW THEM LIVE! .. (still can't quite believe it though^^)

Was lying in bed watching a live video of Charlie Brown, from the Manchester gig I went to, and as it started my wristband started simultaneously flashing! It was amazing! However it didn't stop for a while which was annoying.

I've just got back to my flat after a week away and I walked into my room to find my Xyloband glowing!

And no paperclip required ;)

Now to see how long it glows for!

Today, I woke up cause of my Blue Xyloband flashing from itself :) It was glowing again alone almost 2hours :dazzled:

LOOK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0AL_1GzVbQ]29 01 2012 My Blue Coldplay Xyloband is glowing totally by itself !!! :D - YouTube[/ame] =D

Oh, u should remove battery.

I know cause I think it will only stop when the battery will be empty... :(

...but now I can dance on Charlie Brown again :)

1pm ... it's STILL glowing :D (more than 3hours now o_O)

They should give us a notice with it to explain us HOW TO MAKE IT STOOOP xD

*DancingOnCharlieBrown* ;)
