June 6, 201214 yr :stunned: :o :dead: New album title and september release - REAL Everything else - A JOKE Seriously, I can see them laughing
June 6, 201214 yr September 17 :awesome: this is gonna be great need to catch them on tour this time. seeing them as an opening act is NOT ENOUGH
June 6, 201214 yr :stunned: :o :dead: Is this really going to be the album's new sound or are they trolling us?
June 6, 201214 yr Is this really going to be the album's new sound or are they trolling us? I have no idea to be honest... it seems to match what we already know about the album, but that could all be trolling for all we know :shrug:
June 6, 201214 yr hmmmm... the first part is almost certainly real and the Skrillex-like one is quite likely a troll but everything is possible
June 6, 201214 yr I doubt the whole album will be like that. Maybe just a couple of songs, I'm assuming they're previews of Supremacy and Unsustainable.
June 6, 201214 yr At first I closed the window and held back tears, but thinking about it now, the dubstep part at the end of the trailer is really very similar to the faffing around Matt does with his guitar between songs, just . . . . merged together a bit. And I actually really liked the string part in the beginning, not so keen on the singing but I can deal with it. So basically if that's an overview of the album, it will be quite a mix of sounds.
June 6, 201214 yr just going to post this here:laugh3: I actually prefer Rihanna's music than dubstep :|
June 6, 201214 yr to me it sounds like supermassive blackhole and MOP, its Matt experimenting with his guitar BTW i love the new music and have been listening to it non stop
June 6, 201214 yr just going to post this here:laugh3: Is this like a dig at Coldplay? :P I actually prefer Rihanna's music than dubstep :| This. And I don't like Rihanna at all. :|
June 6, 201214 yr I have to say that a radical change in their sound is needed though. They were getting quite repetitive with the last two albums
June 6, 201214 yr How? BHAR & "The Resistance" don't sound ANYTHING like each other. Well, at a first listen those albums may sound different but, to me, after having listened to both for a few times, it seemed that TR had very similar melodies/progressions to BAAHR (with the exception of Undisclosed Desires and the Symphony) just with a softer/more orchestrated production but it may be just my impression
June 7, 201214 yr I remember a long time ago when I thought Muse was good... I was in HS going on to College :P Is this actually for real? It sounds absolutely terrible. :sick2:
June 7, 201214 yr Hey Muse, don't make me turn on you like I've turned on Coldplay. I've spent way too much money on you for that. The intro instrumental sounds great, so hopefully that terrible rock-dubstep-fusion-thing (it's not pure dubstep) will be on one terrible song max (kinda like how that slap bass they were talking about for The Resistance only ended up on one terrible song).
June 7, 201214 yr Is this like a dig at Coldplay? :P yes it is :P hi Kelly, Micheal and everyone i don't know :hug: is it just that likes the guitar effects at the end of the trailer and this is dubstep [ame= ] [/ame]
June 7, 201214 yr [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ugOIsowux8&feature=related]Muse - The 2nd Law Album Trailer (Short Version, No Dubstep)[/ame] happy now :uhoh:
June 7, 201214 yr It's on their official youtube site as well, including the part that you guys call dubstep. I think I'll wait and hear how it all will be. I don't believe they will go dubstep. Just a bit of influences taken from it, but not more than that. I actually think it will be good :uhoh: just like Exogenesis. :}
June 7, 201214 yr If I wasn't a former Muse fan and so sure Matt is being serious I'd say it was hilarious. Instead it's just tragic. They lost me with The Resistance. I'll give the new album a spin but my expectations are at rock bottom.
