has anyone received the Variant Cover version? Its not on pre order and its almost been a month since i ordered it

I just bought the Mylo Xyloto comic-con variant cover and the Mylo Xyloto comic series & litograph!

 

I think it is a good auto gift for my birthday, that was yesterday!

Ordered the Mylo comic con variant at the beginning of October but still received nothing. I have emailed fanfire numerous times now regarding the status of the order but dont even get a reply !

 

Anyone else had a problem or any advice appreciated:(

Plus, ten people who order the series (or the bundle with a lithograph and the series) before November 30 will be randomly selected to WIN A SIGNED COPY of the Issue One Comic-Con Variant Cover, signed by the band and its co-creator Mark Osborne.

I received this e-mail too. They were doing this promotion before, so this is just a reminder and everybody that order the series or the series & litograph will be included to participate anyways.

Just buy the comics, that way you will be able to see what they look like : )

 

I would love to do that but their payment options are crap :P

If that question was for me... They only accept credit cards which I don't have nor want. Most of the time there are alternatives, but in this case there aren't. It's more my problem than theirs though really :P

Our “Hurts Like Heaven”-Coldplay video was released over a month ago. We’re quite happy with it. Specially since we created it in such a short time. We do wish more scenes could have been fully animated. An animated full length feature would have been just as incredible, as were the original intentions before the idea of the comic book series even came about.

 

So far it’s had over 5.5 million views. It’s amazing to see people creating fan art for it already. It’s also a bit shocking whenever I run into them. Thanks to all the fans and of coarse the haters (the ying to the yang), as well. Thanks to Emily, Fortiche, Passion Pics., and the entire MX team. I should also thank JAG and Carlos Nieto for helping refine some of my background art. They saved my ass during the homestretch of the project.

 

On a side note, I’m thinking of selling some of my original art that was created for this project. If anyone is interested email me before I put it on ebay or etsy or whatever. Basically anything in the video is up for grabs.

I think that this issue is only an introduction : introduction of the characters and the world they live in.

IMO, the next issues will be more interesting.

I think it's one of the most unnecessary things the band has done. I can't take it seriously.

The first issue with the variant cover for the Comic Con has apparently been shipped. If you ordered the 6 issues, not the one with the variant cover, like I did, I guess you'll have to wait til this February.
