“Hurts Like Heaven” is a song by British rock band Coldplay. It was written by all members of the band and producer Brian Eno for their fifth studio album “Mylo Xyloto” that was released October 24, 2011 through Parlophone Records. The song will be released as a promotional single in the United States on August 6, 2012 and will almost indefinitely be released as the fifth single from the album for the British market."

WTF? I wrote that on the wikipedia page!

Edit: It's also my rendering of the artwork aswell! Because I made the text too small

video is a go

As far as we can say the Starbucks one seems pretty official. I personally reckon that IS the real one.

Months ago Starbucks release Hurts Like Heaven single version on iTunes as Starbucks Single of the Week.

Did you notice, there are some weird noises in first 18 seconds that the album version dosen't include.

Thank you for posting this !! I hadn't heard that one before !

That animated music video as a background of the comic seems to be a very exciting and interesting :awesome:

I think the Starbucks single IS the single edit. I'll eat my hat if it isn't. I think this comic is just uber awesome, although personally, if coldplay had stuck with the double album idea, they would have fit enough in so that the story of the comic would at least have been passed through correctly.

Even though this is supposed to be the story of the album, i'm still going to stick with boy meets girl, graffiti and japanese rihanna.

If I were coldplay though, i would hold off releasing HLH for now, unless I'd like to be absolutely stomped on by Linkin Park's Lost In the Echo and the next single from Talk That Talk.

looking forward to seeing this music video...last two were kinda shit, but this one I feel will be different and good

japanese? china!

She was wearing Japanese style clothing in the music video.

The Single Version made for Starbucks will be the final single edit. Confirmed by AllAccess.com.

...And in fact, if you listen at the streaming link in the AllAccess email promotion above, you will see the radio edit length is 3:59, whereas the Starbucks version was 4:20, so while they have seemingly identical intros, they are *not* the exact same versions.

Just saw that Passion Pictures also worked on Trouble and Don't Panic!

The single version is downloadable from AllAccess now, but it's unfortunately blocked for those not among the select few to be on the list to have access to it, ironically.

Downloaded! The file has a lenght of 3.58, the intro is the same of Starbuck version, the final part is cutted.

Great find and... great artwork!

I wonder what else they changed?

I got the 2.72 MB download but that won't be very good quality, does anyone have a higher quality download of the radio edit?
