I actually do like the live 2003 version though.

It's telling of myself that my excitement for this album has yet again shot through the roof. O has always captured my interest, and the fact it's one of the longest Coldplay songs (beating Everything's Not Lost!) just makes me beyond ecstatic. That, and Oceans both have potential to be terrific solely based on their track length. Ghost Stories is going to be such a wonderful album, folks.

I think it's interesting that most of their hits (for the most part) are songs around 4 and a half minutes. Some closer to 4:00 others to 5:00, but it's one of those small things that makes me feel like A Sky Full of Stars will be a great hit as well (it's 4:28)

(Of course there's others, like The Scientist and Clocks that are a little bit longer than 4 minutes. But still!)

Hey guys, does anyone notice that after track 9, there is a heart where the next track number would come, and then a line through where the name of the next song would go. I think this may suggest that it is a hidden track that is making O such a long song. Btw that second line is to separate the regular version from the deluxe edition (you can tell because the line has a different alignment). Thoughts?

 

I think that first line is just the horizon with O as the sun setting with birds flying. I don't think that refers to a hidden/new song, although O's track length could reveal a short song like Life is for Living.

Yeah, comparing this album to Mylo Xyloto, I think Magic is the ETIAW (first single, hit) ASFoS is the Paradise (second single, big hit) and I'm guessing Ink will be the Charlie Brown (third single, minor hit).

Ink been this albums version of Charlie Brown the best song Coldplay has ever made up until that polnt isn't a bad thing.

Oceans was just played live as well and it only came to 3:20...meaning either a longer ending on the album version or another hidden track (I'm hoping for the latter!) ...SO EXCITED FOR THIS ALBUM NOW. Sound like AROBTTH with a new modern sound. I think it's the perfect blend of music for every Coldplayer :D :D :D

Holy shit that was epic! And the ending was the best part I'm guessing its from Ocean's video. Jesus I'm so excited after hearing Oceans and parts of AIMH studio version on the ane lowe show. Something tells me this might just be one of their best albums yet!
