April 18, 201412 yr I know it's little early to be talking about Coldplay's 7th Album when they're 6th album hasn't even been released yet but I heard something very interesting just recently! I read online somewhere that Coldplay's Ghost Stories is a low key album and that they aren't going to have an official world tour until 2015(maybe after LP7 comes out). Also that someone from their label company said that they expect Coldplay to make a more commercial album in 2015! At first I didn't really believe it because Coldplay normally take a long time to make a studio album. But now it all makes sense to me! The way I see it is that Coldplay isn't really doing that many shows right now because they are in the studio working on LP7 + there is only 9 tracks off Ghost Stories. It also seems like from what I've heard so far is that the album revolves around Chris's breakup with Gwyneth. Maybe the band let him do his thing this time and they'll focus on something completely different on LP7! Who knows if any of the rumors about Coldplay's 7th studio album are true but it is something to think about!

They may not be "normal" but that does not mean they are not superb, excellent compositions-- ones that could potentially see Grammy recognition.

You are still doing a poor job at describing to me what a normal song is.. You're only listing examples but no actual defining trait that you seem to attach to a normal song. You seem to list songs from the earlier Coldplay era and call them your normal songs and when Paradise is brought up, you make a point to discount it as a normal song (by design or coincidence and seemingly because you aren't a fan of it). And another thing, i'll be honest with you like you asked. I do not think the new songs are dull. I do not think they are less creative. I do not thing it's less Coldplay.

April 21, 201412 yr Hmm, I think I read that as implying MX was very good musically. Viva is pretty good but at the same time it's not brilliant (Also out of the 4 songs I've heard I disagree and think 2 are good and 2 fall flat, but that's another point)
