September 26, 201510 yr They don't really sound similar to me at all. The Clocks = Speed of Sound thing is nothing more than a myth perpetuated by music critics at the time. I agree, I have become annoyed at hearing it two. They may have the same chord progression, but the important thing is that they have a totally different sound and feel. I mean, honestly, many songs oyu hear nowaydays have the same 4-chord progression but they sound so different. This is an invalid argument against Speed of Sound.

September 26, 201510 yr Yes! Very briefly heard the opening to Paradise sound and then cut off. I have to say that I'm glad it wasn't played. Nothing against the track, but I was hoping for something more interesting (and new). It all worked out!
