The exact same thing happened to me! I stayed up until 3:30am, but when I found out their set would only start at 4-something I said "fuck this!" (okay, I obviously didn't say that about Coldplay [emoji16]). I watched the show on YouTube in the morning.

So yes, I agree with you. 9pm is great!

I will say it is very similar. Even the drum beat is almost identical. The kick has the same rhythm.

I have to laugh at the woman in the wine shirt. Chris touches her and she gives a blank nod and a "get the hell off me" expression. Woman, do you know who just touched you?!? :laugh3:

 

To be honest, can totally understand that. I can't recall the scene but I would find it bewildering too if any singer, be it Chris or someone else, suddenly attempts to hug me.

No, you aren't. I don't either. But we must be patient and wait for a proper recording in order to fully judge it. (And it is beyond comprehension why noone could simply film the entirety of the song with his/her mobile phone camera, I mean do people only know how to push the Instagram button nowadays and forget everything non-social media related their phone can so ??)

Then again there's been times where they did play a new song in the soundcheck but never ended up really putting it on the album. I remember there was a cell phone really low quality recording of a song that was really beautiful that was being sound checked but never saw the light of day. So it is possible that, as beautiful as this new track probably is, it may never really be released, just like that other song I was talking about (I forget the name)
