LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"

Featured Replies

Hymn For The Weekend. I think its strange though because even though Chris said it was a duet, the song isnt labeled "feat. Beyoncé

No no, didn't Chris say she was doing backing vocals on Hymn, and is singing more of a duet on another one? That's what I remember hearing.. But we don't know what the other song is right? Up&up maybe?

Turn your computer on to me she'd say

Everything you want just leek away

LMAO! That was such a good 'leak'... What a tease guys :laugh3:

this time I don't mind waiting until the release to download it...

what gets me anxious is those 2016 live dates rumors :anxious:

Chris said the duet was with Tove Lo on fun. My understanding is Beyonce is just the "angel," suggesting a lesser role.

A Thread Full of Dreams :)

Am I the only one who can hear Beyonce in AOAL during the 'woohoo' part at the end? I could swear I hear her singing along at the end of the song [emoji52][emoji52][emoji52]

Anyone wanna make the LP7 leek/leak thread? We'll have it separate to this one, for all your farming needs ;)

I thought the same thing too, but I feel like Chris would have mentioned it by now. I definitely hear a female vocal though.

EDIT: NEVERMIND IT WAS FAKE

Hey, haven't been following this thread in a while. Just came across the above. Is this legit or did someone just take a random music piece and dubbed it Coldplay ? What makes me suspicious is that he has another video titled "New Coldplay song ?" which clearly is not Coldplay. Probably just a clickbait.

Is this legit

I believe this came up before, and it was debunked.

Thank god I'm not crazy [emoji38][emoji38] no but seriously, i don't imagine Chris thinks it's worth mentioning since its just a sing along part. I honestly picture Beyonce being an angel voice like the the voices in 'Always in my head'. She will just add to the atmosphere of the song.

Album/Era - Release Date - Final Tour Date

Parachutes - July 2000 - June 2001

A Rush of Blood to the Head - August 2002 - September 2003

X&Y - June 2005 - March 2007

Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends - June 2008 - March 2010

Mylo Xyloto - October 2011 - December 2012

Ghost Stories - May 2014 - July 2014

Assuming that wiki info is accurate, it appears eras generally last 3 years (1 or 2 years for touring, the rest for studio recording). However, with GS, the era should be shorter with there being fewer tour dates.

So instead, let's look at duration from last tour date to next era's album release. It appears to be a little over a year; lets say 16 months. That should mean LP7 release ~ November 2015 with pre-album hype (singles, leak hunt 2015, interviews, other hype) in September/October 2015.

All speculation of course, just thought i'd throw some reasoning on the table, instead of just blurting out a date with nothing to back it up but gut feeling.

Holy crap, just looking at some old posts, and (not to toot my own horn) but my guess back in June 2014 was pretty good!

To be honest that sounded great. I guess we'll find out December 4th. If not then, we'll find out sooner [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

good thinking

Thats a shame. I could just imagine Chris's voice over that. :/ I hope we get something like that out of this album. It sounds 'dreamy' so it fits the title [emoji38]

You're right. I just shazamed it and turned out to be something else. Clickbait Trolling once again !!

Yeah, that was the Shazam result. But I think the Youtuber grabbed it, dubbed it new song part by Coldplay just to have more clicks on his videos...
