Interesting. I didnt know this guy had a podcast since 2011. Listening now :)

Hmm seems like he is only tuning all electro songs. Cant recognize which part he's talking about Chris.

oh i didn't listen to it. i just fast forwarded through to the speaking portions and he says this in the first.

The Billie Joe track is “the most pure rock moment on the album” while the collaboration with Chris Martin follows Avicii co-writing Coldplay’s hit A Sky Full Of Stars last year.

“It’s similar to A Sky Full Of Stars, but this one is more of a collaborative effort between me and Chris. With that song Chris had already written the lyrics, I remade the whole instrumental. This time around from the start we’ve done something together. We’ve done a bunch of stuff together that’s lying around, but nothing’s ever got to the point like this one is at now.”

why make two in the same vein? hope it is more interesting.

You are fast Gai, I saw this article also and when I came back to the forum it was already posted haha. I am very eager to hear this track. Avicii is scheduled to perform this Saturday for the future musical festival with songs from his new album, so we might hear something then.

looks like avicii played their collab recentl. pretty sure that this is chris singing.

^OMG! Yes it really sounds like him at the end! I'll tweet about it! Thanks!

edit: Well i don't have to someone just did  Thanks guys :D

Oooh. Hope it's out soon.

Apparently called, 'ID (Forever)' or maybe 1D forever, symbolizing Chris' love for that group we don't like mention here :P

Should be just 'Forever' actually:

I was right :p. I really like the song, it's catchy and I can't wait to hear the whole thing.

I don't know what to feel when I listen to this. To think Chris started out singing songs like "Careful where you stand" and now he sings over generic run-of-the-mill EDM songs, I'm like

I just can't hate it because I love Chris's voice so much, and from time to time I enjoy listening to happy cheap ass EDM songs that always follow the same bold boring rules and structures, but

it's great but at the same time it sucks??

YOU KNOW???

^ i know what you mean. listen to a rush of blood and this and it can be a little unsettling.

and how come some of the lyrics have become so generic and almost nonsensical?

Yeah. I hate to be 'that guy', but Chris' evolution is really...interesting. I'm still not worried, because Chris doesn't equal Coldplay, but even then, I can't help feeling strange.
