April 20, 201511 yr i feel like the chorus was a chris martin contribution. very chris martin like. but the rest of the lyrics are not. specially the last part. maybe chris wasn't interested in developing the early demo but avicii was? we'll see when the credits come out.

August 27, 201510 yr ok, so the tracklist is up on itunes in the countries where it is tomorrow now. avicii fans say this track is the chris martin co-write. it doesn't look finished but if this is the case .... August 27, 201510 yr It's ruined by the effect, It barely resembles what Chris actually sounds like. This is Chris Martin we're talking about. Why couldn't Avicii just leave Chris's vocals as is??
August 27, 201510 yr Just listened to it. First off, imho a horrible song. Secondly, if I heard correctly Chris is singing all of the first verse and chorus and parts of the rest, at the very end he does the high-pitched backing vocals. Awful vocoder effect. How can you willingly distort this voice so that it becomes barely recognizable ? Shame on you Avicii. Is this the song they made 600 versions for ??

Yeah, it's still a terrible song in terms of to what Chris lends his vocals again (poor and superficial lyrics, synthetic sound and well Avicii-Sound)...what I wanna say is, a terrible song to someone whose taste in music is very Oldplayish. But both in terms of all Avicii songs and generally, EDM songs I've heard, it is actually a rather good one ! Very catchy tune. The end of the song is not that great though. I wish it had Chris throughout on main vocals, it would have been better then.

I wish it had Chris throughout on main vocals, it would have been better then. im sorry but what were you expecting? this is avicii we are talking about, of course we have cheesy lyrics and synths, its EDM. Its actually a pretty darn good track, production wise, i can't find mistakes, the sound is so clean, not bombastic, minimalistic but yet powerful. And chris' vocals made that way fit the song better than chris' original voice i really love it and chris doesnt have nothing to do with it, its just that is a hit
August 28, 201510 yr So just looked at the date of that video. It was posted in April along with a lot of other ones as well. How did no one catch this before now? Also, it's good, but I feel like his voice is pitched too high and I still like Heaven better. Wish he kept his vocals on that one.
August 28, 201510 yr I was not expecting anything because I just heard of it for the first time and listened to it immediately afterwards. And as I said, its not my genre and I somewhat think it weird for Chris to be always featuring on this kind of songs, but for its genre it's a pretty good song. At least the first half where Chris is doing the complete vocals.
