To me, 1.36 seems to be about how we, the human race, are divided when in reality we are all one group and one species. Because of selfish, judgemental human nature, we are all blind to our similarities so we fight one another over our differences.

One more thing... 1:36 was the original length of the song (it is now 2:05) so that is where the name comes from.

I love 1.36. But that's because I also listen to a lot of rock besides Coldplay. Would I like Coldplay if their general style was stuff like 1.36? Maybe, maybe not. They certainly wouldn't be as big to me. But it's cool to hear something different from them once in a while. Like listening to GPASUYF. It's a nice reminder that the guys can rock out and have fun with it.

The lyrics of 1.36 are great, but I don't like the song as a whole (and detest Simon Pegg croaching Yeah...Yeah...Yeah at the end)

 

I've never heard of Lonely Views or Plays as a Coldplay cover or song. Where did you get that idea from ?

@i ran away:I just got some collected some coldplay tracks from a friend and it included "lonely view" & "plays",but what's strange is that the voices on those tracks do not sound like Chris at all...tnks for clearing that...

I think "High Speed" sounds great especially at the end where there is a diminuendo and a reverberation of sounds in a repetitive manner...I usually feel like I'm trapped in a 70's movie whenever I listen to it...

It's I am Your Baby's Daddy. Those lyrics are just so gross that I still wonder how Chris Martin ever managed to speak them out on a public video. I hate that "song" !

Midnight is good.Listen to it a few times more and youll like it.A whisper is so-so i think the poorer songs would be Anothers Arm/Up In Flames

Funny, A Whisper and Such a Rush are imho quite underrated..

Actually Such A Rush and Midnight are two of my favourite Coldplay songs[emoji4]

Such a Rush has a great atmosphere, build-up and then the main chorus is delivered with great strength- it's awesome !
