Got tickets in the orange standing/unreserved seating area!!:D:D:D

Got my tickets ! Phew - no chance to choose where you sit ( well - I'm old !) . It was all a bit of a panic and I just took the first ones I got offered - right down the far end from the stage. Still - I'm going - that's the important thing.

Only thing is - as it's 4pm in the middle of Summer - we won't get any fantastic lighting effects. But it means I won't have to book a hotel either. :laugh3:

since it starts at 4 according to Ticketmaster, with an opening act, and no lighting effects as mentioned by 'oldiefan'

Yes, doors at 4.I reckon the earliest the band will be on is 8pm.

I can't imagine seeing them without any lights :O My friend thinks the roof will be shut for the show so it's dark enough but I'm not sure

I'm afraid the Etihad Stadium does not have a roof that can be shut....but no worries, as others said, they definitely won't start till before 8PM. Let's just hope it doesn't rain...it's Manchester after all :D

There will be lights, don't worry! The start of the show will be fairly light but in no time at all it'll be dark enough. Been the same for previous open air stadium gigs.

 

Yeah the colour section thing confused me a little bit too. I got blue. But as long as the tickets are 'Standing & Level 1 Unreserved Seats' then it's all good. I'm sure there'll be more info very soon :)

Oh - you all reckon they'll be on stage at 8pm ? Looks like I'll have to book a hotel after all. And it that true about everyone at the gigs getting a 'Love Button' ?

Gonna try and book tickets tomorrow! Hopefully everything will go smoothly. I preordered their album like three weeks ago from itunes, wish they gave a code on that too not only for uk amazon orders but oh well! :D

It means you can stand on the pitch or pick a seat from the first lot of seats nearest the pitch.
