don't forget lit ii, strawberry swing :) to me those were pretty artsy too. but this is definitely the most surrealist mv they have made.

My expectations weren't exactly low after what Chris said, but the video is even better than I expected! I love it so much!!!

the graphics are INCREDIBLE, it features the band, it hy as a message and it's just so beautiful!

Anyone who thinks new coldplay sucks should watch this.

The only thing I don't like is that they used the radio version of Up&Up.

I love psychedelic things, first Georgia's ESC entry, now this really different and unique look at the world from Coldplay.

 

I think that new Radiohead album and videos have woke them up a little bit, it is a stellar video compared to the others in this era. I'm sad they didn't use the album version, but hey for what it is, it's bloody brilliant.

I don't think coldplay had already heard the radiohead album or seen the videos when they made the Up&Up video. It must have taken pretty long to film all the footage and edit the video, apart from that coldplay are wearing the outfits they were wearing in the photos from the beginning of the era.

That was brilliant !!!!!:omgomg::omgomg::omgomg: It rivals Strawberry Swing and The Scientist in terms of creative and well thought music video. It may seem like a collection of random mindf**** s**** going on but almost every image has something to say about society today. It is one of my favorites Coldplay music videos to date. I'm really impressed by it. The only downside is the short radio version of Up&Up, but for me it's only a detail, nothing that would make me dislike this brilliant piece of art :D:D:D.

Love the video. It's visually amazing, very artsy and trippy, with a surrealist touch. The message is beautiful too. There's just so much to discover and see! The amount of detail is insane! Really enjoying this. I just wish they had used the album version. But still, it's brilliant. A true artistic masterpiece, in my opinion.

Artsy, meaningful and visually stunning - great video. The frequent use of swimmers was a bit boring, though.

 

By the way I also thought the wall on the beach looks like the wall between Israel and Palestine - it could fit in with the general message of the video against divisiveness and for unity (and environmental care) on this planet.
