Rate DON'T LET IT BREAK YOUR HEART poll!
I think Strawberry Swinger might mean the mixing on the vocals, which aren't quite tiptop. It's something that would be resolved live (think, MM studio vs live).

Which Song from MX we will never hear live ?!
I also don't think any of these songs will become setlist staples the way CB will probably be. DLIBYH-->UWTB mix would be .

Which Song from MX we will never hear live ?!
Hopefully, none of them. -DLIBYH has been rehearsed, and probably is the most "practical" of the songs in terms of being something that can be done on a piano, guitar, bass, and drums. It's also my favourite among these songs. -UWTB...unsure. I really hope they play this live...I feel like Jonny would make the guitar much bigger, Chris would make a fun piano-->guitar-->piano transition as in 42. As a poster said, it can replace LIFL as a setcloser pretty well. I also imagine the whole band singing it, or at least Chris and Will rocking out the second half. The weird noises I feel like can be addressed either as a backing track or better yet, Jonny doing cool stuff on the guitar - don't underestimate him! -POC we'll hear at least once. Otherwise it's unlikely, unless they start doing what Snow Patrol does with Set Fire to the Third Bar by featuring various guest singers (please please please Coldplay + Adele/Florence Welch). -U.F.O. - I think this is the least likely because it's short. I can imagine it getting added to the X-Stage, but if so, it won't sound like the studio version (I hope) because of how heavy the strings get. So it might be Chris solo or a lot of the other junk getting substituted with the boys. If you guys have seen HLH at Dingwalls, Chris actually sings the melody of UFO over MX. So he has it on his mind at least. :)

What could Noel Gallagher and Chris Martin be performing at the Brits?
ALL OF THE ABOVE. PLEASE. Does anyone know if it's just Noel and Chris or if it's Chris and Noel's band...? Realistically, I'd like to hear If I Had a Gun (separate personal vent: I hope NGHFB add an epic guitar solo in the middle). What a Life would also be good. Both are piano/vocal driven songs, so Chris would be a good addition. If I can dream, I'd love Noel and Chris to perform Alone on the Rope and A Simple Game of Genius.

New Coldplay eh?
Strawberry Swing has a brilliant storytelling video IMO.

Charlie Brown Music Videos (Live & Studio - both videos in first post)
On a more random note, I'd like to see a video for HLH in the vein of Take on Me.

Charlie Brown Music Videos (Live & Studio - both videos in first post)
I was really hoping for an animated video, actually. Peanuts-ified Coldplay, anybody? :( I think if there was more to the storyline, ie, more stuff along the vein of stealing the car and everything. That would've made the video much better. The fact that 99% of the song was colour-rave made the colour-rave aspect less powerful to me. Maybe if it hadn't started till the actual chorus, then it'd be better.

Charlie Brown Music Videos (Live & Studio - both videos in first post)
I was kind of meh about it. ETIAW and Paradise were better by far by virtue of being more artistic (ETIAW) and more funny (Paradise). I think if it had more story and less rave-sex... Even though what they did with this video makes sense in the context of the song/album, it just comes off as excessive and unnecessary and too similar to We Found Love.

The U songs
I was literally about to type this exact post.

[4-Mar-2012] Coldplay @ Amnesty International Presents: The Secret Policeman's Ball, New York, NY, U
Does anyone know whether to expect a full set?

Hurts Like Heaven possibility
I feel like girls could really ruin UIF. :p I've said so before, I really hope the next singles outside of CB are HLH, DLIBYH, and UATW. UATW is very singleworthy...it's like the Don't Panic of this decade.

Mylo Xyloto in Every Song?
MMIX is closely linked to ETIAW so I think that counts. Oh, and the same noises in ETIAW (especially near the end) are sometimes in the background of HLH but I'm too lazy to point to specific places jaja. Jonny's electric guitar line in UIF is the melody of MX, roughly. And the drumbeat of UIF has the exact same bass-snare-buh-bass-snare rhythm as POC, but stripped back by a lot. UATW has the same slow-ow-ow-ow motif as in UIF. UATW is also in 6/8 time signature (kind of a watlzish feel), which is almost the same as MX. UATW and MX have the same tempo/time signature, essentially. The "float all over the world" melody in UWTB is very similar to that of UFO's "I don't know which way I'm going."

U2
*bump* Love is Blindness is a bloody amazing song as I've recently discovered. But who is this random girl who always dances with Bono? (okay maybe it's not random since it's in every video) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyeoDOoQzBA]U2 : Love Is Blindness (Live Australia '93 - ZOO TV) HQ 720p - YouTube[/ame]

Could Us Against The World Be About The Time Chris Kicked Will Out Of The Band?
I'm pretty sure it's about the United States Against the World. It's about how the United States has tried to rule the world, as if it were the Princess of China. Only to have this empire fall. proof: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sgs37PTYAtw]Coldplay at Lollapalooza 2011 - Us Against the World - YouTube[/ame] Listen to Chris at 0:15 - "This is a song called UATW. It's about the potential love affair between Sarah Palin and Bill O'Reilly. In the hopes that through shared love, they will see the whole world in a whole new way."

Rank the album Opener!
In context of the album: 1. MX/Hurts Like Heaven 2. Politik 3. LIT 4. Square One 5. Don't Panic As individual songs: 1. Politik 2. MX/HLH *LITii would be here 3. Square One 4. Don't Panic 5. LIT Much agreed about MX/HLH and Politik. Politik is quintessential Coldplay.

My Bet!
It's a bet you could certainly win...proof: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHFkQ-3FHTY]chris martin and johnny buckland - every tear drop is a waterfall- live at little noise 2011.mp4 - YouTube[/ame] The only problem is that the Little Noise sessions are played somewhat sloppily in terms of Chris stopping songs, audience noise/singing (as in Paradise), and tambourine lady.

Coldplay are recording a new song - could it be this one???
Exciting! I enjoyed Stop for a Minute, and even POC...so this new one can't disappoint if it's true. Coldplay-Jay-Z stuff > everything though. Indeed. Perhaps the "equal split" is a half-truth in that the other 3 members split the 60% that they get equally. In terms of band politics, everything is equal though (the Will veto). Idealistically, I'd've hoped for 4x25 split but the fact of the matter is that Chris starts most of the songs. Out of sheer quantity he kind of does "deserve" the larger amount of money. At this point though they seem rich enough that it shouldn't matter anyways. Whatever.

Love this Lyric!
^I love the rose one...great image. I think glowing in the dark evokes the simplest Coldplay/MX image - making light out of dark / happy out of the sad. It's a simple idea but very moving.

Guess the Charlie Brown Single Tracklisting
MTM is clearly better than everything ever. In terms of previous albums... AROBTTH: I Ran Away > A Whisper X&Y (I have a very pro-X&Y bias though): TIDU, Proof ~ Low HYSTW ~ Twisted Logic VLV/Prospekt's: I wouldn't change anything here because I consider the EP to be its own entity. The only thing is maybe LITii could replace the original LIT. MX: MTM MTM MTM MTM.

Coldplay.com Lyrics Have Been Corrected
ETIAW has some fantastic lyrics I think. Especially the 2nd verse. It's VERY call-to-armsy. I think "I'd rather be a comma than a full stop" is one of the best lyrics ever. ^I see what you did up there Pink. :p The chorus I don't really understand yet, the part about soaring wa-wa-wa's or something.

Worst Mylo Xyloto song?
U.F.O. It feels too incomplete for what could've been this era's Don't Panic or Poppyfields/Prospekt's March.
