Coldplaylivetickets.com was shut down by police in September on suspicion of fraud after dozens of fans were scammed. Now an identical site has resurfaced, this time registered as coldplaylivetickets.net. It has no address, no phone number and no company details. The domain name is registered to an Alberto Perez in Panama. Be careful: you may find it difficult to get a refund if coldplaylivetickets.net fails to provide the goods. http://blogs.mirror.co.uk/investigations/2009/02/beware-coldplay-ticket-site.html

Sonic 102.9 FM will announce two concerts on Monday morning — at 7 and 7:30 a.m. U2 is also announcing their tour on Monday. Coincidence? Probably. (Sorry.) BUT, according to a hint on Sonic's Twitter, Coldplay might be one of the announcements. "Could they be headed to E-town? http://tinyurl.com/8wq9dw " reads the post - directing readers to the LiTii video. Hmm ... are they finally going to make up for bailing on us last July? http://communities.canada.com/edmontonjournal/blogs/pluggedin/archive/2009/03/07/u2-coldplay-in-edmonton.aspx

Anyone know (or have any ideas) why Coldplay aren't doing any festivals this summer? I thought with the release of Viva la vida they might of done even one, as they went to Glastonbury back in 2005 when X&Y was released. Be good to see them at T in the Park :) just wondering...

My daughter is allergic to Latex and we are going to the Melb Concert on Weds night, when we went to the last concert when Coldplay were out here last time, we sheltered her and made sure that none of the balloons came near her. What I was wondering is how would I find out what the balloons are made of, if they are synthetic, we don't have a worry, but if they are latex, then we would be best to leave the arena during Yellow, which would be a shame. I have the option of taking her Epipen, which I will anyway, but would prefer to prevent any reaction than use the Epipen. TIA AS

SEATWAVE SECONDARY TICKETING MARKET UPDATE FOR Q4 2008" LONDON, ENG (Seatwave) 03 March 2009 - Seatwave, Europe’s leading independent ticketing website according to Comscore market share data, today confirms that it saw decisive growth across all sectors including music, sport and theatre in Q4 of 2008. This comes as many other industries are feeling the effect of the economic downturn. Seatwave experienced a 66% increase in overall transactions since Q3 of 2008 and a massive 232% rise on the same quarter last year. The most significant growth was seen in theatre transactions, which witnessed a 217% increase in sales on 2007, followed by sports events, which saw an inc…

AUCKLAND - Coldplay may be forced to cancel their only New Zealand concert because Auckland's waterfront arena won't be finished in time. Coldplay has a concert scheduled at Vector Arena in June but construction delays make it unlikely the 12,000-seat venue will be ready in time, the New Zealand Herald reported on Tuesday. Concert promoter Manolo Echave said he has been told the $80 million dollar project -- due to be finished by the end of this year -- won't be ready until July or August. Without a proper venue, it's unlikely Coldplay will play in New Zealand this time around, he said.

First of, I would like to apologize if this thread is in the wrong section. Anyway... :) Me and some friends are planning to see Coldplay live this year. Since they are not coming to Portugal (WHY?!) we are discussing the possibility to see them in the UK. Now, here comes the problems.. The tickets aren't cheap, so we were thinking going with a low-cost airline. I only saw flights from Easyjet and RyanAir, and from RyanAir the airport available is Stansted. I already spoke to a colleague, and she said that the trip from the airport would last at least 1h and half, this to the center of London. Now, I have two questions. How much would it be to follow t…

Does anyone know what time COLDPLAY usually start their sound checks before concerts? I'm going to the Houston show in July and they are playing a pavilion so I figure It will be pretty easy to hear them practicing. So if any one knows or has any idea that would be cool:D

New to the forum and did searches for this but didn't see any answers. Is there anywhere to download Coldplay shows? Does anyone record them? I wasn't sure if this was something that the band allows. I went to one back in October and would love to have a copy of it. Thanks.

Hey, I'm Ana. If youre really bored you can read about my experience at a Coldplay concert. Well, to start off I was young when I went to a Coldplay concert. My parents are big fans of Coldplay so they took me. I got to invite my friend. We got to my house after school and we drove up to West Palm Beach. The concert was on a weekday, I believe, so we were pretty tired from school. I was really excited to go to see Coldplay live. I knew who they were and I liked their music but I wasn't their biggest fan. We were at an amphitheater and we got lawn tickets, so we were all the way in the back. But at a Coldplay concert, it doesn't matter where you are sitting, it is s…

In Daylight on the Live 2003 DVD, in the verses and at the end part while Chris is singing either Jonny or Will is singing the same thing but really low in bass notes. I'm pretty sure it's Jonny, but their singing voices are so similar and they are both singing at the same time through most of it. Does anyone know who it was?

The world's largest concert promoter and its biggest ticket-seller tonight agreed to join forces in a controversial "merger of equals" that will create a new giant of the entertainment industry. Live Nation, whose vast roster of artists includes Madonna, Coldplay and U2, is to merge with Ticketmaster in an all-share deal worth about $800m (£550m). But the planned tie-up, which would create a dominant force in concert promotion and ticket sales, has already sparked competition concerns in the US. Charles Schumer, a senior Democratic senator, said: "This merger would give a giant new entity unrivalled power over concert-goers and the prices they pay to see their fa…
