Coldplay Live

Im just wondering, how long does a concert really go on? The 1 im going to starts at 7:00PM EST, what time would it end?

Ever since the news that Coldplay's Wembley Gigs would be supported by "girls aloud" I've seen alot of scorn on the boards about the fact they have no talent etc. etc. So I just want to see what your views on the "pop princesses" *cringe* supporting coldplay are..... PS. Personally I think they have a few catchy poppy songs which aren't Horrible, but I don't like them as they don't have any talent. I think they'll be rubbish live (partly coz a lot of their songs are horrible and partly coz half of them can't sing!) and won't appeal to the majority of the Coldplay Crowd.

I think I saw on TwitPic for Coldplay that at every concert, there are 20 something signed LRLRL albums. Has anyone ever gotten one?

So I know that a lot of LIT, when played live, is dubbed in, but how much of it is played live by the band? I assume the acoustic guitar, bass and drum parts are actually Chris, Guy and Will, but what is the electric guitar part when played live? How is this song done? Outstanding live, by the way!

Coldplay had a techno version of Viva la Vida playing as they transitioned from their lawn stage back to the front. Does anyone know where I can get this song? Sorry if this has been discussed. Thanks in advance.

I would have to say they will play viva, lost, lovers in japan, and maybe death and all his friends. I would hope they would still play life in technicolor ii, but we will see. They will always play, yellow, clocks, the scientist, politik, fix you, and I would think viva la vida. They ignored x&y for this tour, so it is hard to say. They said they are making a concept album next time, and a smaller tour, so it might be harder to predict which songs they would play, but it is fun trying to think about it.

I've always wondered.....how do you get floor seats? Am I not fast enough online when I'm buying tix? Last concert i was fron row side stage (excellent seats) and this one i was supposed to go to in Tampa I had sec 10 seats (not too bad) But how the heck do some people have the advantage of swinging floor seats??? Is there a secret??? :)

I've read, that people having a Coldplay ticket, get the Live Album "LRLRL" as a free CD. Is that true?

Watching Glastonbury 2002 and Live 03 so much lately really makes me appreciate what a great live band they were back then. More down-to-earth, with more rock type songs and a focus on sound and putting on a good performance of the songs. Now it's more of an overall show, with less focus on the sound (especially apparent on LRLRL). Not that they sound bad now, but Chris is definitely putting more effort into dancing and less into singing than he used to. I just kind of miss those old days when they would put on a rock concert, and not a butterfly filled dance fest. Again, not complaining about their current live shows, just liking the old ways more. It is so beautiful and life-affirming it was when powerful Martin from the cold game step of to the stage and is selected its upward musical equipment and speaks " I drew this line, I drew some lines for you! Oh that this thing, it is which necessary to make! For I am so yellow! I arrived forward, I wrote sad songs for you, oh I this fool, it is entirely yellow for this!" Such BEAUTIFUL LYRICAL POETRY HE CRAFT, and so GOOD to see him make his music alive! What your to regard with favor to song by American range COLD GAMES? It is obviously yellow and you are correct both very good songs, but you tell me your personally!

So here is what I was thinking - could there be some way to some how sneak into the video footage during "The Hardest Part" as Chris and Will sing - video footage of their families - you know times they have spent together during the tour, during the break or even what families did while dad's were away (without the band knowing) so maybe they will know how much we appreciate and truly understand what they sacrifice as they are on tour. I know this is not an easy task and the tour is coming to an end - but maybe it can be accomplished for their very last performance at Wembly. Did anyone hear something about Coldplay coming to Israel? The Israeli radio just said that the band might come to Israel in the end of September 2009, but I could verify this rumor yet.

Hello, I registered here because I got this inside news and I just need to share with other Coldplay fans. Chris Martin and Missy Elliot will join Nelly Furtado in her VMA performance next month! Nelly Furtado will kick off her performance with All Good Things (Come to an End) and Chris will enter to sing the second part with her, then Chris leaves and she starts singing Do It with Missy Elliot. They will put fire on that stage!

Is there anyone else? Just so I don't feel alone!? :\

I was wondering what it is like at Coldplay concerts. See, i was going to see another concert in Sept. (OneRepublic, my favorite band, though no offense, cause i love coldplay) but i found out that the tickets were like $50, which is outrageous. So i then saw coldplay had a concert in august where i live, and the tickets aren't nearly as expensive. But what is it like. I don't mind excessive cursing, but i dont want my parents thinking that coldplay is a bad band or whatever. lol So should i prepare them or me for anything that doesn't happen at normal concerts. (Sorry for the long explaination, im just kinda excited about it! lol)

Do COldplay ever stay after shows and sign autographs?:D:D:D I really want one but I can't think of any other way, if they don't stay after.

Hello, I hope a thread for this topic does not exist - otherwise please delete this - or do it in the right thread, please. Does anyone know what Coldplay have planed for their Stadiums shows in Europe? Perhaps they told something in an interview - or an Insider has some hints... I saw them indoor - now I'm thinking about attending an open air show - but I only would if they are planing a whole other concept, meaning: other stage-concept - But I guess it will be the same indoor-stage pimped up a little bit - or am I wrong? Any hints? After seeing U2 live three times these days I'm still flashed by their massive stage - hope Coldplay go the same way...
