The first leg (and maybe the only one) of the european tour is over, they have played in arenas in almost every country.....next year they should play in some small venues, there are a lot of good clubs in europe (and even in america) and an 'intimate' setting would be great for the second leg of the tour. What do y'all think ?

I'm having random ideas again. So far we've had 2 of the EP's tracks inserted into the setlist. Do you think we'll get another one before the EP is released? Which one would you want to hear?

If you disapprove of the decision not to have a pre-sale or standing areas on the new tour, please add your name here. You never know - if there is enough dissent, somebody out there might take notice and it might at least help us next time around. I can see no reason why at least some of the big venues in Germany have standing areas, but not those in the UK. I'm lucky enough to have a "standing" ticket for one of the German shows, but would have liked to at least have had the opportunity to try for one in the UK too. Please note that this is about tour policy, and is in no way a criticism of the band themselves. I'm pretty sure they're far too busy to be concerne…

Oasis are top of a bizarre new chart to find out which artist is selling the most unofficial concert tickets in the UK. Tixdaq.com are company behind the new chart which officially starts next week. They gather ticket information based on quantity and vastly over-inflated ticket prices on websites such as eBay, Get Me In and Viagogo. Unsurprisingly, the top 5 is made up of big names with Oasis at 1, Kings of Leon at 2, Stevie Wonder at 3, Kayne West at 4 and Coldplay at 5. Kings of Leon are currently top of the UK singles charts with 'Sex on Fire' and their fourth studio album 'Only By The Night' is expected to enter in pole position later today. Oasis release a new…

I am very dissapointed about the running time...I think that after four albums, 90 minutes is too short...The X & Y tour concerts also lasted 90 minutes, so at least this tour should last 110 minutes.. What do you think? VOTE! And demand for a longer concert!!!

Hey All- I have been a member of this forum for a few months now, and a coldplay fan for god knows how long, and I have a quick question. So I've seen them twice before-- once in NJ in 2006 on the Twisted Logic Tour, and then on August 4th of this year, in boston. I got tickets with my friend to go to the Monday night izod show, in NJ, but the only seats they had available were all the way up in the nosebleeds-- section 236, I think. So I was telling him what I had heard about roadie 42 and the other staffers giving away free upgrades to people in the nosebleeds, moving them to the very front of the arena. My question is, what should we do to improve our chances?…

Coldplay have recently finished the first leg of their US Viva La Vida tour and here's how they fared against their compatriots in ticket sales. Coldplay's average ticket price for shows in North America was $83.71. The previous week's ranking is in parentheses. The list is based on data provided to the trade publication Pollstar by concert promoters and venue managers. 1. (1) Kenny Chesney; $2,033,026; $72.93. 2. (2) Coldplay; $1,674,011; $83.71. 3. (3) Neil Diamond; $1,601,822; $86.61. 4. (4) The Police; $…

Mike Adamson, CEO of Live Nation, and Damian Devaney, marketing director of O2, at the O2 Arena AFTER a year-long facelift that forced music fans to tramp south of the Liffey to get their live fix, the re-christened and revamped Point Depot will open in just three months' time. The line-up for the official opening of the rather unimaginatively named O2 Arena on December 16 is still a closely guarded secret, although the Kings of Leon have been confirmed for two nights later. Counting Crows and Coldplay will also take to the new stage in the following days. And while its owners were reluctant to reveal the final bill for the epic transformation, they were more …

ACL promoters say they book the fest from the bottom up Call it the Coldplay problem. In September 2005, the British rock band headlined the fourth Austin City Limits Music Festival. Three months earlier, Coldplay had released "X&Y," its third album, which went on to sell more than 8 million copies worldwide. Coldplay was the biggest band in the world and it was playing Zilker Park. That hasn't happened again. Tom Petty and Bob Dylan headlined ACL the next two years; Foo Fighters have that honor at this festival, which opens today. All three acts are respectable crowd-pleasers, but none have the same juice as Coldplay did in 2005 or as Radiohead does now. …

I'm declaring today a negativity free day in the Coldplay Live section. I'm bored of reading the same moans & complaints. Constructive criticism is fine but moaning for the sake of it and not offering a solution is banned. So, today I challenge you to find something positive to say when you're reading the live threads. I want to be able to enjoy reading the reviews as I'm copying & pasting them.

Hey, tomorrow I'm going to Prague to see Coldplay live. Were you allowed to use cameras during the show? I've heard it is forbidden to use them, but on the other hand, The Oracle gave some advice how to take good shots during the concert (http://coldplay.com/oracledetail.php?id=189&page=20).

Pharell "Í just wanna love you" und Johann Strauss "Erröffnungswalzer" dann folgte die Tracklist mit "Life in Technicolor" usw.
