Did anyone else see the dancing roadie to the left of the stage before Coldplay began last night, Dec 1st, at Birmingham??? He was quite a mover! Fabulous pre-show entertainment! I saw em on 7/18 in San Jose and I'm already experiencing withdrawals. I came to the conclusion that if logistics weren't a factor, I would pay $100 a day if every evening ended with a Coldplay concert

Folks, let me start off by saying that I am as big a Coldplay fan as anyone out there. I was sitting at home one night in the late 90's watching this mini concert on Comcast and I thought to myself who the heck is this band they are awesome! From there it was non stop infatuation with everything about these guys, Chris' paino skills, Will's constant energy on the drums etc. Their songs were beautiful, amazing, awesome, you could get lost in the lyrics it was all good. So I got my GA tickets for the first Melbourne show. (Oh yeah!) I have a question for anyone who has done GA on this tour – What’s the best spot to head for? Is it better to head for the main stage or is better to get a spot by one of the b-stages? I went to a number of U2 concerts in Australia in 2006 and the first few shows I got a great spot right in front of the main stage. To try something different I grabbed a spot by a b-stage for the final show and wished I had done it more often. I could not believe my ears when I heard LIJ (Osaka Sun) from the new EP. It's basically the Live version. All the stuff that I thought was the live interpretation (the general harmonies and the "Ooooooooooooooo" before "tonight, maybe we're gonna run") were found on this new EP mix. Then I recall C. Martin's letter saying the album version didn't have enough energy... well, it does! In fact, it's cooler than the new mix. I can understand that C. Martin is maybe being a perfectionist and reading into stuff that we don't see/hear, but the move to album-ify the live version is just weird. There's an album version, and it's live interpretation... but don't album-ify it…

Alright guys. Now that Coldplay have released their dates, at least for the North American tour, we, as the Coldplay Megafans, have to band together and help each other out. What is the BEST way to ensure that you get the BEST tickets possible. I know you can always go to ticketmaster and set an alert and always come back to try and buy presale tickets and all that, but basically what I am asking is, are there better sites/places to get tickets? I honestly don't care what I pay for these my tickets, I just want to be right at the front, you know? My wife and I are going to the Dallas show and we're a bit concerned because we have a 2 month old baby and we live about 45 minutes away, first time to leave her, blah blah blah. We just want to estimate as best we can and know what to expect. If you've been to any of the recent shows this tour let me know what you can recall about the show regarding what time they hit the stage and what time they finished, or how long the show lasted, etc. Thanks!
