Okay, I know there is already a thread. But I really really need help!! And assuming I haven't read that any other COLDPLAYER made the finals.... I NEED YOUR VOTE!! PLEASE PLEASE Help my dream come true! I made the finals of the 8thcontinent.com website to win 2 tickets to a private show! Mine is the last one. It says "It would definitely have to be on the rocks, lying in a hammock, sitting 50 meters away at a Coldplay show. With a beautiful woman, of course!" by PGUILD142 I'm hoping to win a chance to see the boys! THANKS TO ALL WHO VOTE!!!

I'm sorry about just up and posting this, but it's coming up fast, and we wanted to get entrants for our contest! If I'm not minding board etiquette properly please let me know and I'll change it. We're running a contest for FREE TICKETS to a private Coldplay concert on July 19 (you can see how quick that's coming up)...just enter our contest at http://www.8thcontinent.com/ You DO have to register, but we DO NOT sell your information or anything scummy like that. If you're interested in the product, take a look around! I just thought this forum, out of anyone else, would appreciate the opportunity. Thanks!

I'm going to the concert in Houston next week and I was just wondering if people in the seats (not the lawn or the section right in front of the stage but the actual seats) have been standing or sitting for the most part during the ampitheatre shows? Thanks

COMPETITION NOW OPEN Check out this thread http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59681 Hey guys! We currently have a plot afoot but can't tell you what it is or why we need the following, but you know we're always good to you!!! :D And we need lots of comprehensive reviews :sneaky: We need you to write us an extra special live review of your best ever Coldplay gig/festival appearance, the more recent the better. We want to know what happened, did you get a Coldplay Karma experience, were your favourite songs played, what made it so special, how did you feel? As this will be running for the whole summer, you could always use a show that you have …

First off, let me say that I'm a giant fan and am very happy to have stumbled across this board. Unfortunately, I didn't really find Coldplay until a year ago and I don't know how I survived without them. I have backtracked and purchased all the albums and am just amazed at the talent and creativity in their music. Anyway, on to my point. I have been a huge live music fan for 15 years (since I was old enough to go to concerts). I went to Dave Matthews Band shows 5 times a summer. I even went to three nights in a row of Dave and Tim as they went from city to city near where I live. I've seen the Counting Crows, Howie Day, John Mayer, Ben Harper, Indigo Girls, an…

Chris keeps reusing the same self-depreciating jokes in almost every show. :\ They were pretty funny the first time but... well. Idk. I mean every time they did that cover of I'm A Beleiver he would go "now I'm in love" "oooOOOoo" "let's come on love" "oooOOOoo" "IN THE BACK ARE YOU IN LOVE?" "ROOOARRRRAAHAHGHHDSLFJ" "OVER THERE ARE YOU IN LOVE?" "AAHHHHWOOOOOOoooOOOOO" "WILL ARE YOU IN LOOVE?" "ooOOOoo" "GUY ARE YOU IN LOVE" "OOOoooOOO" "JONNY I KNOW YOU HATE SINGING BUT PLEASE JUST SAY THAT YOU'RE IN LOVE" "LOLSHAHAHA" "OOOooooOOO" etc. I don't mean to sound like a Coldplay hater but it's getting kind of old. :( And that's my rant. :nice: Feel free to bash n…

Okay, I know this is a bit late into the tour; but I never hear of contests to win tickets, or stage passes, or anything because I always have to travel to go to any show. Therefore, all the radio station and local contests I can't enter. I'm hoping to start a thread here, where if you hear of such a contest, you can post it and more people (coldplayers :D) can find out about it!!

I went to Vancouver #2 last night. I'm 54 yrs - and this is the best stadium concert ever. I want to take my daughter to a Coldplay show in west coast USA, but I note they are all outdoor amphitheatre venues. I just can't imagine how that can stack up against their indoor stadium show - as far as visuals, fx, etc. Feedback please??

Hey obviously I'm a big Coldplay fan. Have been for 7 years, but this is the first concert I'm going to (Saratoga). I assume there's a list of to do's for a big Coldplay fan, but if anyone could let me in on some. I'd really appreciate it. Or just point me in the right direction. Just one question I have that I assume most will know. Show starts at 7:30, when should i get there?

i absolutly love seeing coldplay. Im so amazed at the talent of them all but they are just overdoing it with the shows. i just looked up u2 tickets and every single ticket is sold out to every single show. This is because in the whole 360 tour leg of North America there are only about 12 shows. People complain about the crowd sucking because Coldplay has just played too many shows the demand has drastically decreased. What they need to do is cut the us shows in half and visit South America and more of Europe where they are jonsing for Coldplay. It's simple as that they may love America but you need to go where you haven't been or it's just gonna get played out.

Are the setlists listed in the forum correct? Looks like the last 10+ shows are exactly the same? Is this true?

Yeah, so I'm not sure where this goes exactly, but our local radio station here in Des Moines was hosting a contest to interview a member of the band, asking listeners to write essays on why they should be allowed the opportunity. Apparently, they liked my essay, so I won. Friday, I get to interview one of them. *big fangirly yay!* They don't know who yet, though, so I've got to come up with 4 times the questions and ask the appropriate ones. And act professional, as it's a video interview. :stunned: So, if anyone has any burning, serious questions, post em here....I need all the help I can get!

Last year i was in berlin on my first Coldplay's show. Here, you can see lasta 2 minutes of the best [in my opinion] Coldplay's song: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7el6CDRar7g]YouTube - coldplay-politik-awesome last 2mins-live from Berlin 2008[/ame] Is there anybody out there [who is lost and hurt and lonely too ;P] who can tell me why this song is so so so touching, beautiful and makes me cry in live version ? Listen and tell me. This is one of the most beautiful song in the whole world!

Yes, Coldplay was the best concert I've ever been to, and I loved it. But after seeing them, it's harder for me to listen to their live stuff (LeftRightLeftRightLeft or Live 2003, for example.) and look at my concert pictures. I just miss the concert so much, it was the best night of my life. Does anyone feel the same? Sorry if this in the wrong section, by the way. Please pardon my noobness.

Does anyone by chance happen to have a list of concerts from old tours? Coldplayitalia used to have very useful ones but it seems they've canned all but VLV and I can't find them on Wayback Machine either. Specifically I'm looking for Twisted Logic 2006, the Wiki doesn't have one either. Thanksiez~
