I don't know about any of you guys, (and please only reply to this is you've actually listened to the whole EP) but I believe that Proof is actually the strongest song on the EP, totally not a rip of their AROBTTH material like Speed Of Sound was to Clocks, its got a touching soaring chorus and really should headline the EP! Just checking to see if I'm not the only one!

From what I've heard of the new album there are a lot of parts where there are just strings and no real instruments.... the start of fix you, start of square one, end of white shadows, ect.... songs on AROBTTH were also loaded w/ strings (Politik, In my Place)... does the band write/ play these parts? from what instrument do these "strings" come from? just curious, because it seems to be a big part of the coldplay sound.

Over the last hour, UCLA Bruin Radio claims they're going to play X&Y on their radioshow tonight between 12-2am midnight. I think it's bullshit. This has been posted on Coldplay's official forums and a few other forums I visit. I guess they arent aware of this album's tight security. heh

The single for 'Speed Of Sound' is. I usually copy all cds i get for backup and for iPod. If so, is it easy to get around?

How pathetic.. Coldplay sells out to a corporate label so they can make money and then complain about the way business runs.. And you guys defend him.. Talk about laughing all the way to the bank.. What about his wife.. you think he has any trouble spending her "corporate gains" ? Gee, I wonder what they do with all that CASH they get from you guys buying CDs? Perhaps invest it somewhere? Or does he live in a small house and just give it all away? Pathetic.. Glad I don't own any of their CDs... Anone else think that Proof needs drums and bass in it?.I keep waiting for them to kick in.Anyway,what do you think of the quality of the new b-sides,i think they're ok but not up to album standard.and PERHAPS not as good as the AROBTTH b-sides? although they need to sink in a bit more.

I requested 3 seats for the Tampa, Florida show and now I'm not sure if my friend is going. If I do get an email tomorrow with the 3 seats I requested, do I have to buy all of them or can I just buy 1 or 2 from the 3 seats they tell me are available?
