Radiohead singer Thom Yorke has insisted the band will not split with the release of his first solo album. The Eraser has been produced by Nigel Godrich, responsible for Radiohead albums including The Bends, OK Computer and 2003's Hail To The Thief. In an e-mail to Radiohead's fan organisation Waste, Yorke said he had been "itching to do something like this for ages". But he added that his solo ambitions had not outpaced Radiohead's. I only have their latest CD, The Guest, but these guys are fabulous! The drummer is Jason Schwartzman (I got the spelling wrong) he is the actor from the film Rushmore. Reformed boy band Take That will record their first new album for a decade after their comeback tour was a hit. The new album will not feature original member Robbie Williams but will include songs written by all four other members and is due for release in the autumn.
