i know this is a coldplay website but i wanted to know if anyone heard of these guys or likes their music?? i think they are awesome. sometimes i feel like there's a little bit of coldplay/radiohead in their songs. anyway, if you haven't heard of this band i suggest taking a listen. if you like coldplay odds are you'd like explosions in the sky. youtube has a ton of videos.

Anybody heard of them? One of my favourite bands. I met them because I'm a big fan of Johnny Depp and he directed their last music video. I started to listen to them and I fell in love. 'The F-Word' is one of my favourite songs all the time.

I bought the album by Carpark North 6 months ago, and its my favourite album of the year along with x&y. They do sound very much like Coldplay but a bit heavier in my opinion, the choruses are big and anthemic and the melodies are quite stunning. Ben Harper is amazing. His songs and lyrics are real and meaningful. If you haven't checked him out, do it. You won't regret it. Its way mello, most of it. He sings the "steal my kisses', thats a fun song. Well check him out :-D
