The Arctic Monkey’s lead singer Alex Turner is going solo, and he’s doing it next month. It has been confirmed that the singer will be releasing a solo album next month. The album is mostly acoustic guitar and piano based tracks, produced by Simian Mobile Disco’ s James Ford – who is also working on the Monkey’s new album - and is taken from the upcoming film Submarine, which is due for release in March. I have only recently (in the last year or so) become a fan of Radiohead, before I thought they were really weird and not very accessible, but as my music taste matured, I really enjoy and appreciate their music now...however, I wouldn't think the general public would! Radiohead's early stuff was *fairly* commercial however the vast majority of their music is nothing like 'pop' and you wouldn't hear it on the radio (unlike Coldplay) however they always have the most plays every week on Last.fm and have the most listeners and plays...but yet they are never in the charts... WHY?
