This is the Radiohead top 15 songs thread to see what people agree with most on this forum. For this I am going to have 3 separate threads, the first one having 4 and each one after containing 3 peoples lists. From there whomever wins each one of these threads will then move onto round 2, where everyone will then vote again for the best song list. Ok, this might seem random to some, but is anybody on here into "Can" (one of the most famous Krautrock bands which has been an influence for quite a few bands that people like on here [e.g. Radiohead])? Anybody who doesn't know them should give them a listen....though it might be a bit hard to get into them.....I like their music (esp. their older stuff)...it's interesting...they can be jazzy, funky, psychedelic, etc....they did what they wanted and shaped the genre "Krautrock" (what an annoying name which kinda gives you a wrong idea of what the music sounds like.....a reason why I never really checked out that genre) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBHunxDa…

I know with this being a Coldplay fan site the most likely answer will be Coldplay of course but if you're like me and Coldplay aren't number 1 on you're list then what is number one? Soundays is an Indie Rock band from Montevideo, Uruguay. They are currently recording their first album at Porto Alegre, Brasil. In 2009 they released an EP named "OLHA" including songs such as She Feels Like The Weather, Hawaii, Don't Matter If it Hurts Lights Will Guide Us To The Sun and Locked Love. I have a bunch of music I don't listen to anymore, including The National, AF, Coldplay, ad some Black Keys I think, and bands I used to listen when I was 15. I don't wanna delete any of that cos I listen to some tracks sometimes, but very rarely and I feel bad </3 Would you delete those?

I've been listening to them a lot lately and I was just wondering what people here thought of them.

what do you think about hip hop? do you like it? do you hate it? i love it. I've been listening to pretty much only hip hop for the past few weeks. hmmmm. There was a time when i thought it wasn't music/just people talking over a beat etc but it isn't. There's a real fucking art to production and rapping. I put Illmatic - Nas and Madvillainy - Madvillain up there with the best albums of all time. FOREAL why do i make threads they never make sense :(

Seriously, Irish music is underrated. Some amazing stuff comes out of that country. Snow Patrol U2 The Divine Comedy The Thrills The Undertones and more recently, I have discovered Kowalski.... Any more to recommend? Seems like the Irish can do no wrong.

I find over the years there have been many phases for bands that i've really liked. So I'm curious to see of all of the bands that you have listened to which have had the longest longevity or you have been a solid fan for? For me the longest would be The Beatles. I've listened to them my whole life but my dad first made me cassette tapes (back when I had a walkman), back when I was in like 1st grade... so that's like 17 years or so (around '95). Which do you all prefer? Bubble tracks or creepy leather glove on unidentified ass? Personally I love the bubble tracks, not only because of what a beautiful picture it is, but because of where they came from, plus there are FIBONACCI SPIRALS in the way bubbles go, which is just fucking awesome <3.
